This is to inform the public that the road passing Ngerkesou toward Ngardmau Dock will be CLOSED for
5 days, starting TODAY ( TUESDAY, JUNE 2, 2026) .

The closure starts from Tuesday, June 2 to Saturday, June 6, due to ongoing road construction on Ngerkesou Road. Please avoid traveling to the area during this time.

The boat access will remain open. When passing Ngerkesou by boat, please slow down for safety.

The closure starts from Tuesday, May 26 to Saturday, May 30, due to ongoing road construction on Ngerkesou Road. Please avoid traveling to the area during this time.

Postponement of Ngardmau Community Meeting – May 19, 2026

Due to our community in mourning, the Ngardmau Community Meeting scheduled for May 19, 2026 at 6:00 PM has been postponed until further notice.

Ngerkesou road closure is extended until tomorrow (Saturday) from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM due to ongoing construction; We apologize for the last-minute notice.. Please slow down if you’re going on the boat near Ngerkesou, as wall and road work are in progress and detours may be in place.

- The Ngerkesou Road Project has commenced.
- For safety, please do not go to Ngardmau dock on May 5 (Wednesday) and May 6 (Thursday).
- The road is currently a single lane, and work is ongoing.
