A great day out for all the family!
From now until the end of March, each weekend at Al Zubarah Fort, there are a variety of events going on.
Come along for traditional crafts & Qatari foods, camel rides, and to look around Al Zubarah Archaeological Site, Qatar's first UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The activities run Friday from 1:00pm till 4:00pm and Saturday from 9:00am till 4:00pm, and the fort and the site are open everyday!

Al Zubarah Archaeological Site's visitor centre in Al Zubarah Fort is proving to be extremely popular with tourists and locals alike, with over 2000 people visiting last week!

An ancient settlement in north Qatar
On a deserted stretch of coastline in the far north-west of Qatar are the ancient ruins of a large fortress.

Last week saw an evening visit to the fort by a combined group of Harley Davidson owners.
It was a fantastic thing to see with around 100 beautiful bikes lined up in front of Al Zubarah Fort.
