Under Qatar Law No. 2 of 2017, the QFC Court can act as the Competent Court for any Qatar-seated arbitration. QICDRC also supports the use of alternative dispute resolution methods by providing arbitration facilities equipped with the latest technologies to meet the needs of parties and facilitate arbitration proceedings.

يُتيح قانون التحكيم رقم (2) لسنة 2017 اختيار محكمة قطر الدولية كمحكمة مختصة للنظر في إجراءات التحكيم التي تُجرى في الدولة. كما توفّر المحكمة مرافق تحكيم متطورة تلبي احتياجات الأطراف، وتسهم في جعل عملية التحكيم أكثر مرونة وسلاسة، وذلك في إطار جهودها الرامية إلى تشجيع استخدام الوسائل البديلة لتسوية المنازعات.

شاركت محكمة قطر الدولية في إحياء اليوم العالمي للتوعية بالتوحد، الذي يوافق الثاني من شهر أبريل من كل عام وذلك من خلال إضاءة مبناها باللون الأزرق.
وتأتي هذه المشاركة تأكيدًا على دعم الجهود الرامية إلى تعزيز الوعي باضطراب طيف التوحد، والتضامن مع المصابين به، وتشجيع دمجهم وتمكينهم في المجتمع.

The Qatar International Court marked World Autism Awareness Day, observed annually on 2 April, by lighting its building in blue.
This initiative reflects the Court’s support for efforts to raise awareness of autism spectrum disorder, show solidarity with individuals on the spectrum, and promote their inclusion and empowerment within society.

QICDRC offers mediation as one of the alternative methods for dispute resolution, recognised for its flexibility and streamlined procedures compared to other methods. Mediation is conducted in accordance with the Court’s mediation rules and through an approved panel of specialised mediators.

ويُمكِّن نظام Courts for Webex من عقد الجلسات افتراضيًا، ويتيح للأطراف وممثليهم حضورها، كما يتيح النظام الإلكتروني لإدارة القضايا (eCourt) إيداع الوثائق والمستندات المتعلقة بالدعوى دون الحاجة إلى الحضور شخصيًا، الأمر الذي يسهم في تسهيل الوصول إلى العدالة وتعزيز كفاءة الخدمات المقدَّمة.


The Qatar International Court and Dispute Resolution Centre continues to deliver its services remotely, ensuring the continuity of proceedings efficiently and without delay. Hearings are conducted remotely and on schedule using the QICDRC’s Courts for Webex platform, while the eCourt system enables parties and their legal representatives to submit documents electronically. This approach facilitates access to justice and enhances the efficiency of the Court’s services.
