เมื่อวันที่ 21 พ.ค. 2569 นายกิตติเทพ เทพหัสดิน ณ อยุธยา อุปทูตรักษาการ สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงโดฮา เข้าร่วมงานเลี้ยงอาหารกลางวันของคณะเอกอัครราชทูตภูมิภาคเอเชียประจำกาตาร์ (Asian Ambassadors' Group) ณ Heenat Salma Farm โดยมีนาย Vipul เอกอัครราชทูตอินเดียประจำกาตาร์เป็นเจ้าภาพ

งานเลี้ยงของคณะเอกอัครราชทูตภูมิภาคเอเชียประจำกาตาร์ดังกล่าวเป็นธรรมเนียมปฏิบัติของกลุ่มเอกอัครราชทูตจากกลุ่มประเทศในภูมิภาคเอเชีย-แปซิฟิกประจํากาตาร์ จำนวน 25 ประเทศ โดยจะผลัดเปลี่ยนหมุนเวียนกันเป็นเจ้าภาพ เพื่อเปิดโอกาสให้คณะทูตฯ ได้พบปะหารือและแลกเปลี่ยนความเห็นในประเด็นต่าง ๆ บนพื้นฐานของความสนใจและเป็นผลประโยชน์ร่วมกัน ตลอดจนการสร้างเครือข่ายในการประสานงานระหว่างกันอย่างใกล้ชิดระหว่างกลุ่มคณะทูตต่างประเทศในกาตาร์

Chargé d'affaires, a.i. of the Royal Thai Embassy attended the Asian Ambassadors' Group Luncheon

On 21 May 2026, Mr. Kit Devahastin, Chargé d'affaires, a.i. of the Royal Thai Embassy in Doha, attended the luncheon of Asian Ambassadors' Group, hosted by H.E. Mr. Vipul, Ambassador of India to the State of Qatar.

The Asian Ambassadors’ Group Luncheon is a monthly gathering comprising of Ambassadors and Chargé d'Affaires a.i. from 25 Asia-Pacific countries with diplomatic missions in Qatar, with each taking turns hosting the event. It serves as a forum to exchange views and information based on common interests and mutual benefits. It also aims to foster close and cordial networks among the diplomatic community in Qatar.

กระทรวงวัฒนธรรมกาตาร์เปิดตัวหนังสือ This Is Qatar ฉบับภาษาไทย

เมื่อวันที่ 20 พฤษภาคม 2569 นายกิตติเทพ เทพหัสดิน ณ อยุธยา อุปทูตรักษาการ สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงโดฮา ร่วมพิธีเปิดตัวหนังสือชุด This Is Qatar ฉบับภาษาไทย ซึ่งจัดขึ้นในงาน Doha International Book Fair ครั้งที่ 35 ร่วมกับนาย Nasser Malallah A. Al Malki อธิบดีกรมความร่วมมือระหว่างประเทศ กระทรวงวัฒนธรรมกาตาร์ ในโอกาสดังกล่าว มีการฉายวิดีทัศน์ภาษาไทยเกี่ยวกับความเป็นมาของการจัดทำหนังสือชุดดังกล่าว และอุปทูตรักษาการฯ ได้ให้สัมภาษณ์แก่สื่อท้องถิ่นย้ำถึงการแลกเปลี่ยนทางวัฒนธรรมและการเสริมสร้าง
ความเข้าใจเกี่ยวกับกาตาร์ในมิติต่าง ๆ ผ่านหนังสือชุด This Is Qatar ฉบับภาษาไทย ซึ่งเป็นส่วนสำคัญในการขับเคลื่อนความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างประชาชนของไทยและกาตาร์

หนังสือชุด This Is Qatar คือ สารานุกรมทางประวัติศาสตร์และวัฒนธรรมกาตาร์ รวม 6 เล่ม จัดทำโดยกระทรวงวัฒนธรรมกาตาร์ เพื่อรวบรวมข้อมูลและเรื่องราวที่น่าสนใจเกี่ยวกับกาตาร์ในมิติต่าง ๆ ทั้งด้านการเมืองการปกครอง เศรษฐกิจสังคม และวัฒนธรรมประเพณี ทั้งนี้ หนังสือชุด This Is Qatar ยังผสมผสานและใช้สื่ออิเล็กทรอนิกส์ที่ทันสมัย อาทิ เสียงและวิดีทัศน์สารคดี โดยปัจจุบันมีการจัดทำเป็นภาษาต่าง ๆ รวม 5 ภาษา และอยู่ระหว่างการจัดทำฉบับภาษาไทยเพื่อเผยแพร่ต่อสาธารณะชนต่อไป

The Ministry of Culture of Qatar launches Thai Edition of "This Is Qatar" Book

On 20 May 2026, Mr. Kit Devahastin, Chargé d'affaires, a.i. of the Royal Thai Embassy in Doha, attended the launch ceremony of the Thai edition of "This Is Qatar" at the 35th Doha International Book Fair, alongside Mr. Nasser Malallah A. Al Malki, Director of International Cooperation Department, Ministry of Culture of Qatar. The event featured a Thai-language video presentation highlighting the background and development of the publication project. On this occasion, the Chargé d'affaires a.i. also gave an interview to local media underscoring the importance of cultural exchange and the promotion of a broader understanding of Qatar through the Thai edition of the "This Is Qatar.” It will help promote and enhance a deeper understanding of Qatar among Thai people, which serves as important bridge in strengthening people-to-people relations between Thailand and Qatar.

The "This Is Qatar" series is a six-volume encyclopedia collection produced by the Ministry of Culture of Qatar, offering comprehensive and engaging insights into various dimensions of the country, including governance, economy, society, culture, and traditions. The series also incorporates modern multimedia elements, such as audiobooks and documentary videos, to enhance reader engagement and learning experiences. Currently available in five languages, the series is now being prepared in Thai for wider public dissemination in Thailand.

พิธีเฉลิมพระเกียรติสมเด็จพระนางเจ้ารำไพพรรณี พระบรมราชินี ในรัชการที่ 7 เนื่องในโอกาสการประกาศยกย่องพระเกียรติคุณพระราชกรณียกิจในวาระครบ 100 ปี

เมื่อวันที่ 21 พฤษภาคม 2569 สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงโดฮา จัดพิธีเฉลิมพระเกียรติสมเด็จพระนางเจ้ารำไพพรรณี พระบรมราชินี ในรัชการที่ 7 เนื่องในโอกาสการประกาศยกย่องพระเกียรติคุณพระราชกรณียกิจในวาระครบ 100 ปี โดยนายกิตติเทพ เทพหัสดิน ณ อยุธยา อุปทูตรักษาการ สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงโดฮา เป็นประธานนำข้าราชการ เจ้าหน้าที่สถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ และคู่สมรส ถวายความเคารพหน้าพระบรมฉายาลักษณ์ และร่วมพิธีสงบนิ่งสำรวมจิตตั้งมั่นทำความดีตามหลักคำสอนของศาสนาที่นับถือเพื่อถวายเป็นพระราชกุศล

A Centennial Commemoration Ceremony in Honour of Her Majesty Queen Rambhai Barni, Queen Consort of King Rama VII

On 21 May 2026, the Royal Thai Embassy in Doha held a commemorative ceremony in honour of Her Majesty Queen Rambhai Barni, Queen Consort of King Rama VII, on the occasion of the 100th anniversary commemorating Her Majesty’s royal duties and contributions to the country. Mr. Kit Devahastin, Chargé d'affaires a.i. of the Royal Thai Embassy in Doha, presided over the ceremony and led embassy officials, staff members, and their spouses in paying respects before Her Majesty's portrait. Participants also observed a moment of silence and reflection in tribute to Her Majesty.

กรมการกงสุลขอแจ้งเตือน ห้ามรับฝากหรือรับจ้างขนสัมภาระ/พัสดุจากผู้อื่นโดยเด็ดขาด ไม่ว่าจะเป็นบุคคลใกล้ชิดหรือมีค่าตอบแทน เนื่องจากอาจมีการซุกซ่อนยาเสพติดหรือสิ่งของผิดกฎหมาย โดย ผู้ถือสัมภาระต้องรับผิดชอบตามกฎหมาย และมีโทษร้ายแรงทั้งในประเทศและต่างประเทศ

‼️ แจ้งเตือนคนไทยอย่าลักลอบนำกัญชาและยาเสพติดไปต่างประเทศ

ก่อนเดินทางไปต่างประเทศโปรดศึกษากฎหมายและข้อกำหนดของประเทศปลายทางอย่างละเอียด โดยเฉพาะเรื่องกัญชาและสารเสพติด ซึ่งประเทศส่วนใหญ่ยังถือเป็นสิ่งผิดกฎหมายและมีบทลงโทษรุนแรง

ในกาตาร์ กฎหมายเลขที่ 9 ปี ค.ศ. 1987 ว่าด้วยการควบคุมและระเบียบว่าด้วยการควบคุมยาเสพติดและสารออกฤทธิ์ต่อจิตประสาทที่เป็นอันตราย (Narcotic Drugs and Dangerous Psychotropic Substances) กำหนดให้ห้ามครอบครอง นำเข้า หรือส่งออก กัญชา และยาเสพติด รวมถึงสารออกฤทธิ์ต่อจิตประสาทบางประเภทโดยไม่ได้รับอนุญาต ซึ่งการเสพส่วนบุคคลมีโทษจำคุก 6 เดือนถึง 3 ปี และค่าปรับ 10,000 - 20,000 กาตาร์ริยาล (ประมาณ 100,000 – 200,000 บาท) และการนำเข้า-ส่งออกเพื่อการค้ามีโทษสูงสุดคือ ประหารชีวิตหรือจำคุกตลอดชีวิต และค่าปรับ 300,000 - 500,000 กาตาร์ริยาล (ประมาณ 3,000,000 – 5,000,000 บาท)

นอกจากนี้ ไม่ควรรับฝากหรือรับจ้างขนกระเป๋า สัมภาระ หรือพัสดุไปต่างประเทศ เนื่องจากอาจมีการซุกซ่อนกัญชาและสารเสพติดโดยที่ท่านไม่รู้ตัว

ด้วยความห่วงใยและปรารถนาดีจากสถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงโดฮา และกรมการกงสุล กระทรวงการต่างประเทศ

สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงโดฮา จัดกิจกรรม Together at the Table: Thailand and Qatar ส่งต่อความห่วงใยและความเป็นน้ำหนึ่งใจเดียวกันกับกาตาร์

เมื่อวันที่ 12 พฤษภาคม 2569 นายกิตติเทพ เทพหัสดิน ณ อยุธยา อุปทูตรักษาการ สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงโดฮา เป็นเจ้าภาพเลี้ยงอาหารกลางวันแก่คณะเอกอัครราชทูตจากประเทศสมาชิกอาเซียนประจำกรุงโดฮา ภายใต้กิจกรรม Together at the Table: Thailand and Qatar ระหว่างวันที่ 22 เมษายน – 9 พฤษภาคม 2569 ซึ่งเป็นความร่วมมือระหว่างสถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ กับร้านอาหารไทยในกาตาร์ เพื่อถ่ายทอดความห่วงใย มิตรภาพ และความปรารถนาดีจากประเทศไทยสู่กาตาร์ผ่านประสบการณ์อาหารไทย ตลอดจนการสนับสนุนความมั่นคงทางอาหารของกาตาร์ และสะท้อนความขอบคุณและความเป็นน้ำหนึ่งใจเดียวกันระหว่างไทยและกาตาร์ที่ได้ร่วมกันยืนหยัดและก้าวผ่านช่วงเวลาที่ท้าทายด้วยความเข้มแข็งและความสามัคคี

Royal Thai Embassy in Doha organized Together at the Table: Thailand and Qatar Initiative to Promote Goodwill and Solidarity with Qatar

On 12 May 2026, Mr. Kit Devahastin, Chargé d'Affaires, a.i. of the Royal Thai Embassy in Doha, hosted a luncheon for Ambassadors of ASEAN Member States in Doha, on the occasion of the Together at the Table: Thailand and Qatar initiative, between 22 April – 9 May 2026. The initiative is a collaboration between the Royal Thai Embassy and Thai restaurants in Qatar aimed at conveying Thailand’s goodwill, care, and friendship towards Qatar through the shared experience of Thai cuisine, while also supporting Qatar’s food security efforts and reflecting the solidarity between the two countries in overcoming challenging times together with resilience and unity.

The initiative seeks to use food as a bridge to connect people, foster mutual understanding, and strengthen people-to-people ties between Thailand and Qatar through the meaningful presentation of Thai cultural identity and culinary heritage. On this occasion, the Royal Thai Embassy wishes to express its sincere appreciation to all participating Thai restaurants, namely Benjarong, Isaan, Khaosan, Pochana, Sabai Thai, Saffron, Sritubtim, Thai Aroi, Thai Kitchen, Thai Snack, The Siam and Tuktuk Saigon.

The Embassy reiterates its commitment to continuing initiatives that support the Thai community in Qatar, promote Thai cultural identity and heritage, and further strengthen the cordial relations and close friendship between Thailand and Qatar, particularly at the people-to-people level.

คณะกรรมการอาเซียนประจำโดฮา (ASEAN Committee in Doha) จัดกิจกรรม ASEAN Dragon Boat Racing 2026

เมื่อวันที่ 16 พฤษภาคม 2569 คณะกรรมการอาเซียนประจำโดฮา (ASEAN Committee in Doha)ร่วมกับ Dragon Boat Regatta Qatar และ Katara Cultural Village จัดกิจกรรม ASEAN Dragon Boat Racing 2026 ณ Katara Beach โดยมีสถานเอกอัครราชทูตอินโดนีเซียและฟิลิปปินส์ประจำกาตาร์เป็นผู้ประสานงานหลัก โดยนายกิตติเทพ เทพหัสดิน ณ อยุธยา อุปทูตรักษาการสถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ พร้อมด้วยข้าราชการ เจ้าหน้าที่สถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ และครอบครัวเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมร่วมกับคณะทูตอาเซียนประจำกาตาร์

กิจกรรมดังกล่าวจัดขึ้นเพื่อเสริมสร้างความสามัคคี พัฒนามิตรภาพ และส่งเสริมความเป็นอันหนึ่งอันเดียวกันระหว่างคณะทูตประเทศสมาชิกอาเซียนในกรุงโดฮาเพื่อขับเคลื่อนผลประโยชน์ของอาเซียนและความร่วมมืออาเซียน-กาตาร์ต่อไป ทั้งนี้ คณะกรรมการฯ ประกอบด้วยเอกอัครราชทูตจากประเทศสมาชิกอาเซียนในกรุงโดฮา 7 ประเทศสมาชิกอาเซียนที่มีสำนักงานในกรุงโดฮา ได้แก่ บรูไนดารุสซาลาม อินโดนีเซีย มาเลเซีย ฟิลิปปินส์ สิงคโปร์ ไทย และเวียดนาม

ASEAN Committee in Doha Organises ASEAN Dragon Boat Racing 2026

On 16 May 2026, ASEAN Committee in Doha, in collaboration with Dragon Boat Regatta Qatar and Katara Cultural Village, organised the ASEAN Dragon Boat Racing 2026 at Katara Beach. The event was jointly coordinated by the Embassies of Indonesia and the Philippines in Qatar. Mr. Kit Devahastin, Chargé d'affaires, a.i. of the Royal Thai Embassy in Doha, together with Embassy officials, staff members, and their families, participated in the activity alongside with fellow ASEAN diplomatic missions in Doha.

The event aimed to strengthen friendship, solidarity, and the spirit of ASEAN community among ASEAN diplomatic missions, while further advancing ASEAN interests and enhancing ASEAN-Qatar relations. The ASEAN Committee in Doha comprises Ambassadors and representatives of the seven ASEAN Member States in Doha, namely; Brunei Darussalam, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Viet Nam.

สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงโดฮา จัดงานเลี้ยงอาหารค่ำแก่นักเรียนนักศึกษาไทยในกาตาร์ เนื่องในโอกาสสิ้นสุดปีการศึกษา และเทศกาลอีดิลอัฎฮา 2569

เมื่อวันที่ 14 พฤษภาคม 2569 นายกิตติเทพ เทพหัสดิน ณ อยุธยา อุปทูตรักษาการ สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงโดฮา เป็นเจ้าภาพงานเลี้ยงอาหารค่ำแก่นักเรียนนักศึกษาไทยในกาตาร์ เนื่องในโอกาสสิ้นสุดปีการศึกษา และเทศกาลอีดิลอัฎฮา ประจำปี 2569 (Eid al-Adha) ณ ร้าน Isaan โรงแรม Grand Hyatt Doha Hotel & Villas โดยมีข้าราชการ เจ้าหน้าที่สถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ และครอบครัวเข้าร่วม โดยอุปทูตรักษาการฯ และข้าราชการได้พูดคุยแลกเปลี่ยนกับนักเรียนนักศึกษาไทยเกี่ยวกับชีวิตความเป็นอยู่และการศึกษาในกาตาร์ พร้อมทั้งให้กำลังใจแก่นักเรียนไทยที่อยู่ห่างไกลครอบครัว ตลอดจนหารือแนวทางส่งเสริมการมีส่วนร่วมของนักเรียนไทยในกิจกรรมต่าง ๆ ของสถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ ในอนาคต

ปัจจุบัน มีนักเรียนและนักศึกษาไทยในกาตาร์จำนวน 19 คน ส่วนใหญ่เป็นนักเรียนระดับมัธยมศึกษาที่ได้รับทุนจากกระทรวงศาสนสมบัติและกิจการอิสลามกาตาร์ และนักศึกษาไทยระดับปริญญาตรีในมหาวิทยาลัยภายใต้สังกัด Qatar Foundation ในโอกาสนี้ สถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ ขอแสดงความยินดีกับนายสมิตร รุณวงษ์ และนายมูฮัมหมัดซัมซารีฟ สะแมดัม ที่สำเร็จการศึกษาระดับมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลาย ประจำปีการศึกษา 2569 จากโรงเรียน Institute of Religious Studies Preparatory and Secondary School for Boys กรุงโดฮา

The Royal Thai Embassy in Doha Hosts Dinner for Thai Students in Qatar on the Occasion of the End of the Academic Year and Eid Al Adha 2026

On 14 May 2026, Mr. Kit Devahastin, Chargé d'Affaires, a.i. of the Royal Thai Embassy, hosted a dinner for Thai students in Qatar on the occasion of the end of the academic year and Eid Al Adha 2026 at Isaan Restaurant, Grand Hyatt Doha Hotel & Villas. Embassy officials, staff members, and their families also attended the event.
On this occasion, Chargé d'Affaires, a.i. and Embassy officials joined the students for dinner, engaged in conversations, and inquired about their studies, well-being, and experiences living in Qatar. The occasion also served as an opportunity to extend encouragement and support to Thai students pursuing their education abroad and away from their families, as well as to exchange views on ways to further promote the participation of Thai students in the Embassy’s future activities.

Currently, there are 19 Thai students studying in Qatar. Most are secondary school students receiving scholarships from the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs of the State of Qatar, while others are undergraduate students enrolled at universities under the Qatar Foundation.

On this occasion, the Royal Thai Embassy also extends its congratulations to Mr. Smit Runwong and Mr. Muhammadsamsarif Samaedam on their graduation in the academic year 2026 from the Institute of Religious Studies Preparatory and Secondary School for Boys in Doha.
