Finland has won the IIHF Men’s Ice Hockey World Championship following a 1–0 victory over host nation Switzerland in Zurich on Sunday.
This marks Finland’s fifth world championship title, adding to previous triumphs in 1995, 2011, 2019, and 2022.

فازت فنلندا ببطولة العالم لهوكي الجليد للرجال (IIHF) بعد فوزها بنتيجة 1–0 على الدولة المضيفة سويسرا في زيورخ مساء الأحد.
ويُعد هذا اللقب خامس بطولة عالمية لفنلندا، بعد إنجازاتها السابقة في أعوام 1995 و2011 و2019 و2022.

Lasipalatsin Muumi-kahvilan perusti Suomalais-qatarilainen yritys, joten paikalle oli kutsuttu sekä Suomen Dohan-suurlähettiläs että Qatarin Helsingin-lähettiläs. Paikalla ollut suurlähettiläs Juha Mustonen totesi, että suomalaiset Muumit ovat parhaillaan esillä myös Dohan kirjamessuilla. ”Muumit ovat kulttuurinen silta Itämeren ja Persianlahden välillä - ja ansaitsevat oman näyttelyn Dohaan”, Mustonen paljasti omista haaveistaan.

His Excellency Ambassador Juha Mustonen was welcomed in a meeting with His Excellency Hassan bin Abdulla Al‑Ghanim, Speaker of the Shura Council.
The meeting provided an excellent opportunity to review the strong bilateral relations between Finland and Qatar, with discussions focusing on deepening parliamentary cooperation in areas of shared interest. 🤝🇫🇮🇶🇦 🏛️

H.E. Ambassador Juha Mustonen met with H.E. Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al Khulaifi, Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

During the meeting, they discussed bilateral cooperation relations and ways to further strengthen and expand them. H.E. President Alexander Stubb met yesterday with Qatar’s PM & Minister of Foreign Affairs H.E. Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani at the inaugural Europe-Gulf Summit in Athens.

The leaders discussed expanding political and investment cooperation between EU and GCC states while reaffirming their strong support for regional mediation and de-escalation efforts.
