تنفيذاً لأحكام قانون مكافحة غسل الأموال وتمويل الإرهاب رقم (20) لسنة 2019، يتوجب على جميع المسافرين القادمين إلى دولة قطر أو المغادرين منها الإقرار عن العملات، أو الأدوات المالية القابلة للتداول لحاملها، أو المعادن الثمينة، أو الأحجار الكريمة التي تساوي أو تزيد قيمتها عن (50,000) ريال قطري أو ما يعادلها بالعملات الأجنبية، وذلك من خلال تعبئة نموذج الإقرار إلكترونياً عبر الموقع الرسمي للهيئة العامة للجمارك، مع أهمية استكمال إجراءات الإقرار الإلكتروني بتقديمه لموظف الجمارك المختص بالمنفذ الجمركي، تجنباً للتعرض للمساءلة القانونية.

In implementation of the provisions of Law No. (20) of 2019 on Combating Money Laundering and Terrorism Financing, all travelers arriving in or departing from the State of Qatar are required to declare any currencies, bearer negotiable instruments, precious metals, or precious stones with a value equal to or exceeding QAR 50,000 (fifty thousand Qatari Riyals) or its equivalent in other currencies. This declaration must be completed by filling in the customs declaration form electronically via the official website of the General Authority of Customs. Travelers must finalize the process by presenting the declaration to the competent customs officer at the customs port, in order to avoid legal liability.
