On the occasion of Eid al-Adha, the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Doha extends its warmest congratulations and sincere wishes of peace, prosperity, and wellbeing to the leadership and people of the State of Qatar, as well as to all residents of the country.

May this blessed occasion contribute to strengthening the values of trust, mutual respect, and solidarity — in our region and around the world.

BREAKING: Poland has activated its military aircraft following Russian strikes on Ukraine, the army says, describing the move as a preventive measure to secure and protect airspace near areas deemed at risk.

In connection with the outrageous circumstances surrounding the detention and treatment of activists from the Global Sumud Flotilla, including Polish citizens, by Israeli security services, with the consent and approval of Israel’s Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben-Gvir, the Chargé d’Affaires a.i. of Israel in Warsaw was summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on 21 May 2026.
During the meeting, he received an official diplomatic note demanding respect for the rights and dignity of those detained, their treatment in accordance with international standards, the initiation of an investigation into the circumstances of the incident, condemnation of those responsible, and an official apology from the Israeli authorities.
Furthermore, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Radosław Sikorski decided to submit a request to the Office for Foreigners. In this request, he called for Israel’s Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben-Gvir, to be subject to an entry ban to Poland in connection with his actions.
على خلفية الظروف الصادمة المحيطة باحتجاز ومعاملة نشطاء „أسطول غلوبال صمود”، بمن فيهم مواطنون بولنديون، من قبل أجهزة الأمن الإسرائيلية، وبموافقة ودعم وزير الأمن القومي الإسرائيلي إيتمار بن غفير، تم في 21 مايو/أيار 2026 استدعاء القائم بالأعمال بالإنابة لسفارة إسرائيل في وارسو إلى وزارة الخارجية البولندية.
وخلال الاجتماع، تم تسليمه مذكرة دبلوماسية رسمية تطالب باحترام حقوق وكرامة المعتقلين، ومعاملتهم وفقاً للمعايير الدولية، وفتح تحقيق في ملابسات الحادثة، وإدانة المسؤولين عنها، وتقديم اعتذار رسمي من السلطات الإسرائيلية.
وعلاوة على ذلك، قرر نائب رئيس الوزراء ووزير الخارجية رادوسواف شيكورسكي تقديم طلب إلى مكتب شؤون الأجانب، دعا فيه إلى فرض حظر دخول إلى الأراضي البولندية على وزير الأمن القومي الإسرائيلي إيتمار بن غفير، على خلفية أفعاله.
