🇷🇼 Rwanda was pleased to participate in the Senior Officials’ Meeting held in Seoul ahead of the 2026 Korea Africa Foreign Ministers’ Meeting.

Representing Rwanda, Mr. Virgile Rwanyagatare, Director General in charge of Asia, the Middle East and the Pacific, joined discussions focused on strengthening Africa Korea cooperation and aligning priorities for the Ministerial Meeting.

Rwanda remains committed to advancing a strong partnership with the Republic of Korea, promoting shared prosperity through enhanced cooperation in trade, investment, innovation, and sustainable development.

This afternoon, Minister Olivier Jean Patrick Nduhungirehe briefed members of the diplomatic corps in Rwanda on the country's diplomatic developments and the current dynamics in the Great Lakes region.

Tonight at the Kigali Convention Centre, Minister Olivier Jean Patrick Nduhungirehe joined the Embassy of Israel in Rwanda to celebrate the 78th Independence Day of the State of Israel.

In his remarks, he commended the bilateral relations and cooperation between Rwanda and Israel built over the years.

This evening, Minister Olivier Jean Patrick Nduhungirehe joined the Embassy of Sweden in Kigali in celebrating the Sweden's National Day.

In his remarks, he commended the longstanding good bilateral relations between Rwanda and Sweden.

This afternoon, PS Fidelis Mironko attended the 63rd Africa Liberation Day, where he underscored Africa’s shared commitment to prosperity, harmony, and unity across the continent.

In his remarks, he noted that solidarity remains a defining identity of Africa and emphasized the importance of strengthening the bonds that unite Africans while embracing the continent’s rich diversity.
