A free virtual event is scheduled for you, hosted by historian of science, Dr. Alexander Hall. The online event is due to take place at 5pm GMT on 14th January 2021.
In the event, Dr. Hall will discuss how digitized databases of historical documents can be used to generate new insights into the history of science and its changing role within society.
Drawing on examples from the archive of the British Association for the Advancement of Science (BAAS) and associated collections recently digitized as part of the Wiley Digital Archives project, Dr. Hall will introduce
examples that explore how the networks and connections revealed by the archive can shape research outputs.
The event has been designed with both librarians and faculty in mind, so please share these details with colleagues you think might be interested.
