King Abdullah Project for the Development of Wa'ad Al Shamal The city will hold 4,000 residents in 2017, growing to 21,000 in 2022 and 118,000 in 2042.
Through King Abdullah's vision, Ma'aden has joined forces with SABIC and Mosaic, as well as invested 26 billion riyals to construct an international complex which consists of 10 main plants to transform phosphate rocks into fertilizers, poultry and cattle feed, nutritional supplements, cleaning products and other industrial products. Residents at Wa’ad Al-Shammal will be treated to a range of 1st class accommodation, with 4 types on offer, Villas, Apartments, Executive Homes and Town Homes.
