Dammam Airport announces new baggage policy
King Fahd International Airport in Dammam has launched a new luggage policy for checked-in baggage. As per the new policy, passengers would not be able to take round-shaped, irregular-shaped, and loose strap bags.
Dammam Airport requested everyone to check the new baggage policy before heading towards the airport to avoid any inconvenience. In case of any confusion, you can call their phone for clarification at 920011233.
Allowed Baggage
The following type of baggage is allowed to be checked in at King Fahd International Airport of Dammam.
The maximum size of any checked-in baggage is a length of 76 cm, breadth of 51 cm, and width of 31 cm.
Baggage with at least one flat surface.
Properly packed boxes/cartons with a flat surface.
Regular shaped travel bags.
Baggage Not Allowed
King Fahd International Airport of Dammam has strictly restricted and banned the following types of baggage.
Baggage with a size more than a length of 76 cm, breadth of 51 cm, and width of 31 cm.
Round and irregular-shaped baggage.
Irregular-shaped baggage tied with a rope.
Baggage with long or loose straps.
ZamZam or any liquid inside the checked-in baggage.
Thailand Fully Open to Foreign Travellers; No Thailand Pass, Insurance Required From July 01

Finally, it is time to wave goodbye to the Thailand Pass and Medical Insurance, which were formerly necessary for international visitors to enter Thailand as starting Today, July 01 the Southeast Asian country has ended most of its Covid-related travel requirements.
Thailand no longer requires registration on the Thailand Pass and has lifted the US$10,000 health insurance requirement, therefore the country is welcoming all travellers with proof of either a certificate of vaccination or a pre-arrival negative RT-PCR or professional ATK test result.
It is worth mentioning that, as of June 1, the Thai government has already eliminated the Thailand Pass and Medical Insurance requirements for Thai nationals.
Thailand Entry Requirements From July 01
Vaccinated travellers must have the following documents for entering Thailand:
A valid passport, or a border pass for arrivals via border checkpoints.
A Certificate of COVID-19 Vaccination
Everyone 18 years of age and older must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 with an approved vaccine at least 14 days before travelling to Thailand.
Travellers 5-17 years of age travelling to Thailand unaccompanied must get vaccinated with at least 1 dose of an approved vaccine at least 14 days before travelling to Thailand. Those travelling with parents are exempt from this requirement.
Unvaccinated/not fully vaccinated travellers must have the following documents for entering Thailand:
A valid passport, or a border pass for arrivals via border checkpoints.
Thailand Ended All Covid-19 Restrictions
Aside from the relaxation of entry requirements, the country has also ended all Covid-19 restrictions and completely open all public/tourist attractions by abolishing colour-coded zoning, redesignating Bangkok and the remaining 76 provinces as green zones.
Although outdoor mask use is voluntary, people are advised to wear one in congested areas such as public transit, markets, and music venues, or for people with specific health problems.
Furthermore, in accordance with existing rules and regulations, as well as communicable disease control criteria, restaurants and eateries are now permitted to provide alcoholic beverages to dine-in customers.
Pubs, bars, and karaoke lounges that have received the Thai Stop COVID 2 Plus certification from the Ministry of Public Health are also authorised to operate in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
Group gatherings in congested locations are also allowed, although those with more than 2,000 people must get prior approval from the competent authorities in Bangkok or the other 76 provinces.

Documents you’ll need to apply for UK Student Visa
When you apply for your Student visa you must provide:
a current passport or other valid travel documentation
a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) from your course provider
You may also need to provide:
proof you have enough money to support yourself and pay for your course – this will vary depending on your circumstances
a valid ATAS certificate if your course and nationality require it
proof of parental or other legal guardian consent if you’re under 18
proof of your relationship to your parent or guardian if you’re under 18

If you’re under 18 you’ll need written consent from both parents or legal guardians (or one parent if they have sole responsibility).
This must include their consent for:

A step-by-step guide to applying for United Kingdom Student Visa
Step 1: Apply as early as possible on a Student visa: Apply – GOV.UK (www.gov.uk)
Step 2: Book an appointment at VFS’s Visa Application Centre (VAC).
Step 3: Submit your biometrics and supporting documents required for UK Student Visa.
Step 4: Wait for the decision and collect your passport.
Step 5: If your application is successful, you’ll get either: a biometric residence permit or a digital immigration status which you can view and prove online.

In any case, if you need to change something in your application after you’ve sent it to contact UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI).
You can ask to withdraw your application by contacting UKVI. Your fee will only be refunded if UKVI has not started processing your application.

According to the most recent Henley Passport Index reports, the Indian passport has dropped four places to 87th on the list of the world’s most powerful passports, with Visa-Free access to 60 countries.
It is worth mentioning that the Indian passport ranks 83rd in the first quarter of 2022, although the visa-free destinations remain the same. This means Indian passport holders can now travel to 60 countries across the world without the need for a prior visa.
