Május 12-én a magyar Országgyűlésben letették esküjüket az új magyar kormány tagjai, ezzel hivatalosan is megalakult a Magyar Péter miniszterelnök vezette kabinet.

On May 12, the members of the new Hungarian government took their oath in the Hungarian National Assembly, officially establishing the cabinet led by Prime Minister Péter Magyar.

Mohammed bin Szalmán trónörökös, miniszterelnök táviratban gratulált Magyar Péternek Magyarország miniszterelnökévé választása alkalmából. A trónörökös őszinte gratulációját fejezte ki, és sok sikert és jólétet kívánt a miniszterelnöknek, valamint további fejlődést és jólétet Magyarország baráti népének.

Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman sent a cable of congratulations to Péter Magyar on his election as prime minister of Hungary. The Crown Prince expressed his sincerest congratulations and best wishes for success and prosperity for the prime minister, and for continued progress and prosperity for the friendly people of Hungary.

Május 9-én megtartotta alakuló ülését az új Országgyűlés, ahol Magyar Péter letette hivatali esküjét, ezzel ő lett Magyarország 60. miniszterelnöke. Az eseménnyel hivatalosan is megkezdődött az új kormányzati ciklus és a kabinet felállítása.

Május 11-én a parlamenti bizottságok megkezdik az új miniszterjelöltek meghallgatását.

The new National Assembly held its inaugural session on May 9, where Péter Magyar took the oath of office, becoming the 60th Prime Minister of Hungary. The event marked the beginning of the formation of the new Government.

On May 11, parliamentary committees will begin hearing new ministerial candidates.

Last week, Saudi Arabia hosted the 26th UN Tourism General Assembly, marking the 50th anniversary of UN Tourism, with key discussions on global tourism trends and the impact of AI on the sector. Hungary was represented by Visit Hungary CEO Oliver Csendes, Bernadett Kiss, Petra Benkovics, Ambassador Attila Tar and Sandor Farago Commercial Counsellor. The visit also included the signing of an MoU between Visit Hungary and the Saudi Ministry of Tourism. 🇭🇺🇸🇦🌍✨

On October 20, our Embassy hosted a reception to commemorate the Hungarian Revolution of 1956 — a defining moment in our nation’s history that stands as a symbol of courage, freedom, and the unyielding human spirit.
We were honored to welcome our friends, partners, and members of the diplomatic community to join us in paying tribute to those who fought for liberty and sovereignty nearly seven decades ago.
Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make this celebration of Hungary’s heritage and values truly special.

On October 12, the Embassy of Hungary in Riyadh hosted an inspiring event dedicated to Smart Cities and Creative Solutions.

Local stakeholders from across Saudi Arabia had the opportunity to connect with Tamal Art, Viaplant, Aluinvent Ltd., NEOX Smart Solutions, GeoLink3D Ltd. and Peterp Ltd. who showcased their latest products and technologies in these forward-looking sectors.

The event was made possible with the support of the Next-KPI Program, highlighting Hungary’s commitment to fostering collaboration and sharing innovation with our Saudi partners.

During the visit, the Hungarian delegation also had the opportunity to meet with ROSHN l روشن the Ministry of Investment and Dar wa Emaar engaging in insightful discussions on sustainable urban development and creative industry opportunities.
