Honored to host our Nordic embassy colleagues for an early celebration of Norway’s Constitution Day 🇳🇴 which is the 17 May.

A morning filled with tradition, unity, and shared heritage — from waffles with brown cheese to kransekake and a taste of smoked salmon enjoyed in the Embassy garden.

It was a pleasure to join the visit organized by Mr. Mamoon Salem from Obeikan Investment Group for the Nordic Embassies to the facilities in Al Kharj.

The Norwegian Embassy team was well presented with Monika Thowsen, Heba Deeb, Mohammed Al-Wajih.

From the dairy farm to the bakery factory, the innovation and scale were truly impressive.

We also learned about the Nordic business partnerships with wrapping products and its technologies.

Today, 1 May, Norway joins the world in celebrating International Labour Day, recognizing the importance of workers’ rights, equality, and solidarity.

On this occasion, all of us at the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Riyadh—each in our respective roles—extend our warmest wishes for a happy Labour Day.

Photos from the luncheon hosted by the First Parliamentary Friendship Committee of the , chaired by Dr. Issa Al‑Otaibi, Member of the Council and Chairman of the Shura Parliamentary Friendship Committees with a number of countries, including the Parliamentary Friendship Committee with Norway.

The luncheon was held at the Council’s headquarters in Riyadh and brought together European and African ambassadors accredited to the Kingdom.

The gathering reflected the shared commitment to strengthening bilateral relations and enhancing parliamentary cooperation.
