successfully applied a fertility-preserving surgical technique, used for the first time in the Middle East, to treat adenomyosis by removing diseased tissue from the uterine wall while preserving the uterus. Conducted in collaboration with the University of British Columbia, the procedure enabled a patient who had suffered recurrent miscarriages and difficulty conceiving to achieve a successful pregnancy and deliver a healthy baby.

For the first time in Saudi Arabia, Riyadh successfully implemented advanced ENDOFLIP technology to enhance the precision of achalasia treatment during POEM, providing real-time measurements that confirm treatment effectiveness before the procedure is completed and helping patients restore swallowing function more effectively.
