We are currently developing Seychelles's first National Gender Policy and Plan of Action.
The Gender Secretariat Seychelles is a government body, with the role of facilitating gender mainstreaming in all policies, programmes and activities of the government, private sector and civil society. Our work involves advocacy, lobbying, research, education, training, networking, monitoring and evaluation of gender issues impacting women, men, girls and boys. This will help Seychelles meet its targets set under the various human rights treaties.
