Lieutenant General Ian Cave CB, Commander Home Command and Standing Joint Command (UK) visited British Gurkhas Pokhara (BGP), the home of British Gurkha recruiting, on 07 November 2022.
He was hosted by BGP Officers and Staff and witnessed the ongoing assessments the potential recruits are attempting in course of the Selection.
On the same day, he inaugurated the Annapurna Messing hut, an installment encouraging the Gurkhas' 'Kaida'.
Lt Gen Ian Cave CB also congratulated the DIO Nepal based in BGP, represented by Mr Ramsharan Thapa, on receiving the MOD Sanctuary Award.
