Solicitations Granted This Week 🧡

Here’s a quick rundown of the assistance we extended this week through the Vice Mayor’s Desk:

✅ 5 GI sheets for Barangay Maligo
✅ 1 sack of rice for the Barangay Rubber General Assembly
✅ 1 sack of rice for the Barangay Lumakil General Assembly
✅ 1 sack of rice for the bereaved family of Mrs. Valiente in Barangay Glamang

At hindi pa kasama rito ang maliliit na requests from walk-in clients sa office at mga lumalapit sa bahay.

Hindi man natin kayang tugunan ang lahat, we do what we can, whenever we can. Every little help counts.

Good morning! 😊

We don’t always see what lies ahead. Sometimes, there are glaring signs that things may not go as planned, or for whatever reason, we don’t achieve everything we set out to do for the day.

And that’s perfectly normal. Not every day will go according to plan, and that’s okay.

What matters is that we don’t give up. We adjust, we learn, and we keep moving forward, one step at a time.

Progress is not always about how fast we move, but about having the courage to keep going.

Thank you, SB Family, for respecting and embracing Dosche for who he is. ❤️

Everyone has their own abilities, strengths, and dignity. Let’s continue to build a workplace where everyone feels accepted, valued, and respected. Because in our SB Family, inclusion is not just a word—it’s how we treat one another. 🧡💛💚💙

Aww, hugs, Kim! 🩵🧡💛Don’t be too hard on yourself. You did your best, and that alone is something to be proud of. Rest tonight, feel whatever you need to feel. Proud of you, crown or no crown.

A productive monthly meeting today! 💛🧡🩵

Thank you to the Vice Mayor of Koronadal for sharing their best practices, including Legislative on Wheels, where they bring legislative sessions closer to the people by conducting them in the barangays. This is also similar to SB Barangayan of SB Malungon.

Another practice worth adopting is making local laws accessible online, so our constituents can easily know and understand the ordinances that affect them.

These are the kinds of innovations I hope to see in our own Sangguniang Bayan of Polomolok! Bringing the council closer to the people, making laws more accessible, and making governance more transparent.

The goal is simple: a council that listens, a government that reaches out, and legislations that serve the people.
