An afternoon well spent! The e-Mend-A-Thon finally happened! We had 16 people join the Repair Squad team and professional tailor Ms Judy Tay to learn some tricks and tips in stitching while learning how to make a zipper pouch. There were some mistakes and there were some sweaty palms... but mostly it was fun!

We have launched our website! RepairSquad.org. You can browse through a database of 80+ repairers situated in a few areas of Singapore. It includes repairers such as cobblers, tailors, small appliance repairers, bicycle repairers, watches repairers, gadget repairers and upholstery repairers.

But the most important part of the website is where residents of Singapore can share their knowledge of their neighbourhood repairers in the section: Repair Squad Hunt.

One more successful Mend-A-Thon at the Pek Kio community centre! It was a happy time for both the people getting their items fixed as well as the repairers. Thank you Our Green MoCa - Moulmein-Cairnhill for supporting and helping this initiative.
