We’ve been quiet for a while..

We’re so grateful for this experience with The Green Mortician SG - Flameless Pet Cremation and that we got to share more about the benefits of horse-based interactions with you guys!

October has been a really exciting month for us! Apart from the Therapeutic Equine Experience (TEE) that was held last weekend, HERD had the opportunity to host an experiential session for counsellors-in-training who were curious about the benefits of Equine-Assisted Intervention (EAI). 🐴☺️✨

They got to experience a taste of what may be possible within this growing field, and were heartened that the experience also helped them to discover new things about themselves on a personal level. 💗 We are so grateful for the opportunity to facilitate this experience — check out some photos that were taken by our volunteer, Ee Ming! 📸🙏

Have you been feeling stressed or overwhelmed often, and yearn to unplug from the chaos and immerse yourself in the here and now?

To commemorate 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗠𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵, HERD Singapore is proud to organise a 2-hour 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗽𝗲𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗘𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 for you and your loved ones!

Participants will have opportunities for a unique, 𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘀-𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 to connect one-on-one with horses in a rustic, outdoor stable setting. All ages are welcome to join us!

🐴 Time : 9.30am - 11.30am (Registration from 9.15am)
🐴 Venue : Horsecity, 100 Turf Club Rd
🐴 Fee : $98 per pax (Early bird til 30 Sep. U.P. $150)

Several weeks ago, 🐴, 🐴 and 🐴 co-facilitated the lesson of being "in the present moment" with undergraduates from 🎓

While being mindful might seem "easy" for some, staying in the here-and-now can be a challenge for many of us who tend to go through our day on autopilot, without conscious awareness of what we are doing, or/and why/how we do what we do.

We just react.

Through observations, mindful grooming and groundwork, participants got to practise the skill of paying attention to things as they are...in the present moment.

At almost every step of the way, they learnt to be calm, centred, and focused.

It always heartens us to see children come alive and expand once they begin engaging with horses...

Being outside also means having fun while getting a bit of a sweat, and taking in what nature has to offer!🍃🐴😊

Our equine-partners and experienced Practitioners provide our clients with a safe and inclusive space to open up, engage their senses, move their bodies, and these support them in accessing emotions and thoughts, or to cope with big emotions in a healthier manner.
