Thank you for joining us for the Light Years Holiday Dance Camp in March! ๐คธ
As some of the young choreographers reunited this round, they reminisced friendships made from the previous camp, and recalled exercises and choreography with much detail and excitement. The time passed had allowed them to revisit movements they last made together with fresh eyes, and deeper insight! The young choreographers also got to explore some simple lighting design - thinking about how colour, intensity and timing make a difference to their choreography.
We can't wait to continue making and championing the young choreographers' diverse ideas for movement, and we'll be back with another camp in June! ๐ฅณ
The June showcase will be held in association with T.H.E Dance Companyโs contโขact Dance Festival 2026! ๐

In 2024, Rolypoly Family collaborated with Seet Dances () in Sydney and researcher/writer Jill J. Tan (.tan) on Dancing-in-Place, a dance video penpal project between dancers in Singapore and Sydney.
We're happy to share that the Pedagogy Companion is now part of this Center for Liberatory Practice & Poetry's Resource Library. (liberatorypractice.org)
