NSP - Support Ken Sun at Whampoa SMC

There are slightly over 21,500 voters in the Whampoa SMC. I sincerely hope to improve on my last performance (of 40.5%) by one third. I would like to return power to the People so that the management of Whampoa would of the People, by the People and for the People -- democracy in action!

A large number of households who open up to us during our door-to-door outreaches have wished us well and openly expressed their support. The degree of openness is something new, not seen in earlier years. If their openness is translated by their votes, then Singapore is indeed on the threshold of a major change. I sincerely pray that this is true.

Our door-to-door visitations have increased. Now on Wed (7-10pm), Sat (3-6pm) & Sun (11am-5pm). Volunteers & helpers most welcomed. Thank you for wanting to take possession of Whampoa's welfare. These are true citizens.

We covered the Whampoa Food Centre again on Friday night and part of Jln Rajah (was under Tg Pagar GRC). Received favourable response. Many Residents were outright supportive. Thanks God!

NSP Whampoa team has distributed its leaflets to 15% of the constituency. We are encouraged, as most of the residents were courteous & receptive. Supporters & helpers are most welcomed. Have Proposer & Seconder, but are still looking for 6 Assentors. Am grateful to all.

We hope to establish a Party base at Whampoa together with Moulmein-Kallang, from which we can reach out to the electorate to serve their needs & concerns. Many govt policies are lopsided; with the People's support, we shall bring about a balance to local politics.

NSP hopes to bring about more & improved facilties to meet the needs of residents in Whampoa. Medical facilities such as a Poly-clinic. Recreational facilities such as a Swimming pool and a Park for relaxation. Educational facilities such as a Library, Kindergartens & Childcare amenities.

Still remember the day in 2008 and 2009 serving the residents in Moulmein-Kallang GRC (Previously Jalan Besar GRC) when we conduct food distribution directly to the resident in the 1 room flat with NGO during May Day 2008 and NSP Community Day 2009.
