The Chingay 2013 Parade is happening this weekend!

I’m looking forward to putting on a spectacular show with my fellow performers. Look out for an amazing display of fire and snow, energetic Zumba dancers, the interesting PAssion Culinary performance and many more vibrant acts.

Hope all of you had a good time over the 4 days of celebrating Chinese New Year!! Despite the rain on some of the afternoons, the New year spirit is clearly alive with so many people going around visiting their family members and friends. My family and I also managed to catch up with relatives, friends and old neighbours.

It was also wonderful to see so many residents at the launch of the River Hongbao show last Friday night, despite the heavy rain the early part of the evening. The rain stopped when our distinguished President arrived. The colourful and enormous lanterns on display at the River Hongbao attracted much crowd and families with young children who came later in the evening.

Wishing everyone the very best for the year ahead as we return to office today or for some lucky ones, maybe tomorrow or next Monday. Huat, ah !!

Was at Singapore Polytechnic (SP) on 13 Sep to share at the Design Thinking Summit 2012. PA is very honoured to partner SP in exploring design thinking to support our efforts to widen outreach and deepen engagement with the community. Looking forward to working with our SP friends on future community initiatives and to hear more innovative ideas from the youths!

ELEKTRA AIDILFITRI 2012 at Jurong Green Community Club is ongoing this evening with so many residents coming together to celebrate. Besides many tables with Malay residents; many Chinese and Indian residents are also present and enjoying the warmth; the friendship and the joy of celebration together.
