As Teachers' Day approaches on 5 September 2025, we would like to invite you to join us in celebrating and appreciating the dedicated educators who work tirelessly to nurture and inspire our Outramians throughout the year.

We are organising a special Teachers' Day tribute and would be delighted if you could contribute a heartfelt message or video recording expressing your gratitude to our teaching staff. Your words of appreciation would mean tremendously to our teachers, who pour their passion and commitment into shaping our young minds every day.

How you can participate:
You may choose to submit either a written message or a short video recording (1-2 minutes) which could include appreciation for specific teachers, memorable moments, or simply general thanks for their dedication and care. Not forgetting our non-teaching staff who work quietly and diligently behind the scene to support all staff and student learning and development programme, we encourage you in creating these messages for both our teaching and non-teaching staff. These contributions will be compiled into a special presentation that we will share with our staff during the Teachers' Day celebration.

Brilliant piece by our fellow Outramian.

Indeed when the news of the relocation announced some made fun of the awkward location of Outram Secondary being in Sengkang. Some online commentary suggested we should rename as Ou-Kang, Sengtram etc...a fellow alumni suggest that we are now a branded school where location is not link to its identity. Another liken it to Katong laksa, where the famous dish is found everywhere around this tiny island.

OOA's opinion is that... Outram has always been a brand/branded school. It is also not about where the laksa is located, but ultimately where the "laksa" is, within you.
