Government Officials Impersonation Scams involving Harvey Norman staff

Scammers have impersonated staff from Harvey Norman and called victims, claiming that they made purchases or have pending deliveries.

When victims deny making purchases, scammers would claim that victims’ personal details may have been exploited, and transfer their calls to fake MAS officers.

The fake officers would allege victims of being involved in criminal activities, and ask victims to transfer money/ hand over valuables to support “investigations.

Stay Alert!

🚨 Govt officials will never ask you to transfer money, cryptocurrencies or hand over valuables over a call.

❌ Calls cannot be transferred from any agencies to the Police or MAS.

On 18 September 2026, officers from Geylang NPC and Bedok Division Compliance Management Unit conducted an enforcement operation at a massage establishment along Sims Avenue. Two women were arrested for suspected vice-related activities.

Members of the public are reminded not to engage in vice-related activities and are encouraged to report any suspected vice-related activities to the Police.
