ABOUT US♥
We are from "Shareniture", a socially-conscious initiative that promotes furniture-donation among people. It started when a friend wanted to give away furniture and after outreach we realised that many people needed furniture desperately. That was when we realized that this was a very beneficial way for people to promote the spirit of sharing, compassion and companionship. Since then, we have been blessed to help more than 100 families ranging from single mothers, parents with many children, those in financial difficulty and needy parties. We realize that there is growing interest for such an initiative to continue benefiting even more people.
1) Donor (YOU) posts a picture of their item with its dimensions, location for collection, delivery date and whether the recipient has to self-collect or if delivery is sponsored.
2) Any needy person can comment and queue up for the item by commenting on the Donor's post and queue for it. The recipient should ideally explain their challenges and situation Eg: single-parent, looking for a job, etc.
3) Transport for the item can be provided by Donor, self-collected by Recipient or provided for by "Shareniture".
4) Priority is given to the needy, single-parents, families with many children, low-income families, those physically-challenged and those with long-term mental/emotional challenges. The donor will ultimately decide who to give the furniture to in the comments thread of their item.
5) The recipient gets the furniture and confirms the successful delivery to "Shareniture". We are praying that such a golden opportunity that has its own niche is continued.
