We in MVP have always recognised and respected the immense contributions of Singapore’s Founding Father, Mr Lee Kuan Yew. His vision was clear: a nation built for Singaporeans, grounded in integrity, accountability, and an unwavering commitment to the public good. Yet today, we believe the current ruling party has drifted far from those founding principles.
Mr Lee’s firm decision regarding the demolition of 38 Oxley Road was not merely a personal wish, it reflected his lifelong commitment to humility, transparency, and the avoidance of political cults of personality. MVP Singapore's Most Valuable Party upholds that principle as a central symbol of what Singapore’s governance should stand for. It is a key reason behind our mission and our participation in GE2025.
As we continue preparing for the coming General Election, we call on Singaporeans who believe in restoring these core values to join us. If you want a Singapore that stays true to its founding ideals and truly prioritises its people, then stand with MVP Singapore's Most Valuable Party—as we build our presence and work towards meaningful change.

As a frequent user of public transport, I experience firsthand the stress and anxiety caused by the increasingly frequent train delays.
While it's true that delays can’t be completely avoided, what’s troubling is the apparent lack of effective contingency planning. Emergency standby protocols and backup systems should be ready to activate at a moment’s notice—yet we rarely see them in action.
This points to a deeper issue: the glaring absence of robust Business Continuity Measures across key government sectors. The real question isn’t just when services will resume, but whether they’re truly operational and resilient when they do.
Do you Jeffrey Siow (萧振祥) frequent the public transport like most commuters?
“I understand commuters’ frustration whenever there is a delay or disruption in train service, because it messes up your day and throws off your plans,” said Mr Siow. But train delays cannot be eliminated, and will happen from time to time, he added.

This case highlights a broader concern regarding the use of "discretionary" powers and the limited transparency within government processes. Such gaps can potentially open the door to misconduct and abuse of authority. Is this truly the direction Singapore, as a First-World nation, intends to take?
While a more authoritative approach may yield results in developing contexts, Singapore should be setting higher standards of governance and accountability. In light of this incident, the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) would do well to re-evaluate its internal controls and decision-making frameworks to ensure greater transparency and integrity in the evaluation of visit pass applications.

Team lead of ICA's Visit Pass Unit sought s*xual acts from men to help them with applications
Kannan Morice Rajagopal Jayaram obtained s*x acts from six men between 2022 and 2023 in exchange for helping them with their short-term visit pass applications.

This article feels completely unnecessary and oddly attempts to normalize sinkholes, as if such incidents are to be expected. Pointing to other occurrences elsewhere doesn't make the situation here any less serious or acceptable.
Moreover, comparing Singapore to Japan overlooks key differences in infrastructure, geography, and urban planning. These are not like-for-like comparisons and should not be used to downplay legitimate concerns.
More importantly, we should expect accountability from our government agencies—not deflection or blame-shifting. Is this really the standard of responsibility and transparency we want to set for Singapore?

As GE2025 comes to a close, I would also like to have a closing statement for all those whom followed my journey (albeit a short one).
I want to thank Desmond Lim for giving me the opportunity to join SDA. I would also like to thank ALL the residents who voted for SDA (I know its not because of me). And I would like to thank all my followers (if any) for the words of encouragement. I would also like to thank my wife, especially, for the sacrifices and for enduring the livestreaming every night.
SDA result was expected. I will not say I pulled it up, nor will I say I pulled it down. Let's just say my presence was net zero.
Personally, I am disappointed with myself. My 0 impact was also expected due to some factors (which I prefer not to say). Also, I'm aware that I'm not as talented as Jeremy Tan, in terms of speaking and research, but I believe I'm more of a strategist than him. There were somethings I knew he could tweak to "steal" Mountbatten. Anyway, talk is cheap, so won't be saying so much.
It was never about the fame or glory, but a personal mission to do better for Singapore. If you asked if I would do again, maybe, maybe not. Then again, the stars have to align before I will make my next move.
Most Valuable Party (MVP) will continue, and Candidates, Volunteers and Members applications are always opened. Just drop a WhatsApp at 9884 9091
Till then, I'll see you when I see you.
Yours Truly
Chia Yun Kai
Leader of Most Valuable Party (MVP)
Some other thoughts/reflections/lessons learned from this GE2025.
Expected:
1. WP to do poorly in the sense that they could only "hold" their seats and not win any.
2. For SDP to not win
3. Excellent showing by both Independent Candidates Darryl and Jeremy. Never felt their deposits are at risk (after seeing them speak). Jeremy had a serious chance, but Darryl not really.
4. SDA performed as per expected.
5. Mosquito parties (not SDA) to perform badly.
6. Loss of deposit by most mosquitoes
Unexpected:
1. For PAP to get such a strong mandate (Hindsight Reasoning: Because of their amazing strategy and fearmongering tactics, and partly because oppositions are weak)
2. For PSP to get such a weak mandate (Hindsight Reasoning: Because Singaporeans expected quality > quantity)
Things I've Learned:
1. Jon from Daily Ketchup is a really nice and cool guy, opening up and offering opportunity to almost anyone and everyone.
2. YLB don't give a F for smaller parties. Lol.
3. Experience can be a double-edged sword in politics. If you don't change, please don't expect different results.
4. You can't do it alone 😂

[MISLEADING ARTICLE ALERT] One of the MOST misleading articles written by CNA . A reaction video will soon be uploaded to reflect on how voting for an Opposition Party like SDA will NOT affect any plans for Pasir Ris Changi GRC. In fact, SDA have even better plans for all the residents, that includes preserving the greenery, offering Mental Wellness Centers and providing job opportunities.
As SDA closes in on polling day, we assure all residents that ALL MAJOR PLANS for Pasir Ris Changi WILL CONTINUE regardless of party voted in.
So do not hesitate to vote for SDA, vote for a better life!
