Thinking of finding a home that better suits your next stage of life?
Consider how rightsizing can benefit your CPF savings and boost your future monthly payouts.
As someone in the sandwiched generation, Andrew often feels the responsibility of supporting both his children and ageing parents, while ensuring he has enough for his own retirement.
Andrew has been topping up his elderly mother’s retirement savings and setting aside savings for his special needs son’s future needs. The enhanced Matched Retirement Savings Scheme (MRSS) now provides greater support for these top-ups through dollar-for-dollar matching grants.
Under the enhanced scheme, matching grants for eligible top-ups to his mother’s Retirement Account can continue even after she turns 70. The scheme has also been expanded to cover eligible persons with disabilities of all ages, allowing Andrew to receive matching grants on eligible top-ups to his son’s Special Account as well.
To learn more about whether your loved ones are eligible and to make a cash top up, visit cpf.gov.sg/EnhancedMRSSFB.

Beware of scammers impersonating Singtel or CPF Board to advise you on your Singtel Special Discounted Shares (SDS)
Scammers may call you claiming to be from Singtel or CPF Board to offer advice on your Singtel SDS. If you receive such a call, end it immediately.
Stay vigilant. Do not respond to unsolicited calls requesting personal or sensitive information, even if the caller claims to know your name or NRIC number. Do not click on links, scan QR codes, or visit websites from unknown messages or emails. Only perform transactions on the official website at sds.singtel.com.
Singtel and Government officials, including CPF Board officers, will NEVER:
- Ask you to withdraw CPF funds or transfer money
- Ask you to disclose your bank log-in details
- Ask you to install mobile apps from unofficial app stores to facilitate the sale of your Singtel SDS
If unsure, STOP and CHECK with 24/7 ScamShield anti-scam helpline via 1799, and inform CPF Board via cpf.gov.sg/service/contact-us.
