At the Shangri-La Dialogue, Lieutenant. General Enrico Barduani, Deputy Chief of the EU Military Committee (DCEUMC), met Chief of Staff-Joint Staff, General Uchikura Hiroaki, JSDF, in Singapore. 🇪🇺Ambassador to Singapore Artis Bērtulis attended the meeting.

Discussions included enhanced security cooperation, including support for Ukraine, maritime security (EUNAVFOR ATALANTA) and countering hybrid threats in the Indo-Pacific.

Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to peace, stability, and a rules-based order - from Europe to Asia.

A strong signal of unity in an uncertain world.
