The ASEAN-China Case Competition is the brainchild of extremely dedicated and enthusiastic young people, organized in the Yale-NUS Global China Connection 耶鲁国大全球中国联接(YNGCC). The Yale-NUS Global China Connection (YNGCC) represents a part of a global network (headquartered in New York City) of more than 60 university chapters, whose aim is focused on building relationships between the future leaders of China and the international community. Global China Connection aims to foster an engagement with traditional and contemporary Chinese culture, while building corporate links between youth leaders and professionals with a Chinese focus.
The cause of the GCC has attracted more than 2000 youth leaders from all around the world, with chapters at prestigious universities like Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Columbia, Cornell and Fudan. Our alumni network expands across multiple major cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, Boston, New York City and Washington DC, as well as a range of leading organizations such as the World Bank and LinkedIn.
Yale-NUS Global China Connection (YNGCC) seeks to provide a platform for business partnerships and international networking among youth leaders, professionals and businesses worldwide. We aim to serve as a bridge between China and the world through increasing people’s understanding about China and its relationship with the rest of the world. Finally, we will foster a greater appreciation and understanding of both traditional and contemporary Chinese culture in the Yale-NUS community and beyond. Currently, Yale-NUS Global China Connection is one of the biggest and most active student organizations at Yale-NUS College. Over the past year, YNGCC has offered a wide range of activities – from distinguished speaker’s talks, to cultural events and festivals, and competitions. The team behind Yale-NUS Global China Connection has set ambitious plans for the next few years – attracting more and more people, and offering a broader and deeper understanding of China, and you can be sure that we will put all our efforts into realizing this goal!
