Public Notice

It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our Party's Founding CEC member, Ms Lee Wai Leng@ZiXian at the age of 47.

Wai Leng was a dedicated Democratic warrior who had stepped forward to serve the society and Nation at a very young age. She was already actively involved in Democratic Socialist Club (DSC) while she was still pursuing her undergraduate study in National University of Singapore.

At the age of 27, she stepped forward to contest in the 2006 General Elections as one of the best Mandarin Speakers in Ang Mo Kio GRC under the Workers' Party (WP).

She subsequently served the opposition cause at the back end, providing various support during and off elections period. She had written numerous political articles for political publications and served as Master of Ceremony (MC) during rallies for GE2011 (NSP) and GE2015 (PPP).

Wai Leng was one of the 10 brave souls who came forward and established People's Power Party as one of the key founding CEC members in 2015.

The path of Singapore's democratic development is built upon the many sacrifices by people like Wai Leng. We will always remember her tremendous contributions for the past decades in every major way.

We will miss you, Wai Leng. The Democratic Reform of Singapore is yet to be accomplished but please Rest In Peace.

Our heartfelt condolences to Mr Ong Wee Teck and family.

Goh Meng Song
Secretary General

Health Ministry debunks COVID-19 misinformation on autopsy, vaccination laws SINGAPORE: The Ministry of Health (MOH) on Tuesday (Jun 3) clarified and debunked two false claims circulating on social media regarding COVID-19 autopsy findings and vaccination laws in Singapore. In a press release, MOH addressed misinformation suggesting that Singapore was the first country to co...

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has officially required Pfizer and Moderna to update their COVID-19 vaccine labels to include expanded warnings about the risk of heart inflammation—specifically myocarditis and pericarditis—in young males.

In April 2025, the FDA sent letters to both companies mandating that their vaccine labels reflect new safety data indicating that the highest estimated incidence of these conditions occurs in males aged 16 to 25. This update was based on post-approval studies and insurance claims data.

While earlier labels had already included warnings about these risks, the new directive broadens the age range and emphasizes the potential for longer-term heart abnormalities.

The FDA noted that some individuals who developed myocarditis after vaccination exhibited persistent signs of heart injury on MRI scans months later, although some showed improvement over time.

Both Pfizer's Comirnaty and Moderna's Spikevax vaccines are affected by this labeling change. The FDA's action is part of a broader effort to enhance transparency and ensure that healthcare providers and vaccine recipients are fully informed about potential risks.

This aligns with the People’s Power Party's (PPP) long-standing position on informed consent — that all vaccine recipients must be fully informed and clearly aware of potential risks before undergoing any vaccination.

1) In light of the FDA’s recent directive requiring Pfizer and Moderna to update their labels to include expanded warnings on heart inflammation, will MOH and HSA follow suit and mandate similar labelling in Singapore?

2) Furthermore, will the mainstream media report on these updated warnings and explain the rationale behind the expanded labelling requirements?

MOH rejects 'egregious and false claims' by People's Power Party about COVID-19 vaccines 24/05/2025

This was MOH's rebuttal to our first press statement last year, in which we called for a temporary suspension of the vaccine and urged for more rigorous studies in light of emerging international data on side effects.

If the FDA were to finally declare the COVID vaccines as dangerous, would Singapore erupt in outrage?

Or would silence prevail—muted by years of propaganda, trust in authority, and fear of questioning the system?

Would there be protests in the streets, or would Singaporeans simply shrug and carry on, too conditioned to obey and resist?

What do you think?

The People’s Power Party (PPP) is the only party in Singapore that dares to speak the truth plainly and courageously.

We do not engage in wayang, nor do we lie or gaslight our citizens—no matter the circumstances. In the days, weeks, and years ahead, our position will be vindicated. Independent, unbiased research and real-world data are beginning to affirm what we have stood for all along: sound judgment, principled courage, and unwavering integrity in presenting facts—without fear or favour.

As early as 2024, PPP called on the Ministry of Health (MOH) to suspend the mRNA Covid-19 vaccines and conduct a thorough investigation into their side effects. We cited numerous peer-reviewed journals and highlighted concerns raised by scientists around the world. Instead of listening, MOH dismissed our statements outright. Our efforts were met with silence, mockery, and gaslighting—by both the authorities and state-aligned media.

But truth has a way of surfacing. The tide is now turning.

The newly appointed Director of the U.S. National Institutes of Health (NIH) is now calling for a suspension of mRNA vaccines pending a full review. Around the world, long-term safety data and real-life adverse cases are beginning to confirm what we had sounded the alarm on. This is not political rhetoric—it is a matter of public health, human dignity, and medical accountability.

We sincerely hope there will be enough awakening—enough voices—to prevent further cases of vaccine injury. The lives and well-being of ordinary people must come before profit, political pride, or pharmaceutical interest.

The People's Power Party remains a party of conscience. Our candidates spoke out not for popularity, but because it was right. We stood on the side of truth when it was difficult. We live by our convictions because we care deeply for the people of Singapore.

Though ignored locally, our message was picked up internationally. We are grateful that more people—both here and abroad—are now beginning to see clearly.

Singapore deserves leadership built on integrity and compassion. The silence of our leadership is defeaning.
