If you were wondering what Mindfull Community was up to on Halloween, well— we were in Johor Bahru on a mindful(l) retreat! 🥳
Between laughter, games, and good food, we took time to slow down, bond, and reflect on how far we’ve come. As 2025 winds down, we’re so proud of how far we’ve come — and even more excited for what’s ahead. ✨

Meenakshi's story truly is inspiring 👏 Thank you for shining light on her journey, and for supporting our Caregivers-to-Caregivers Eating Disorder Programme! If you or someone you know is struggling with their mental health, drop by https://www.mindfull.org.sg and we can explore support together ☺️
For Meenakshi, caring for a child with an eating disorder has been a delicate balance of love, fear, and resilience. The hardest part was not only the decision, therapy, school, or home but the emotional shift of sometimes seeing her daughter more as a patient than as her child. Support from her husband, sister, and fellow caregivers at Mindfull Community Singapore reminds her that she is not alone.
What sustains her now is exercise, mindfulness, faith, and family.
We are glad that the Caregivers-To-Caregivers (Eating Disorders) programme, which the Tan Chin Tuan Foundation support, reaches families like Meenakshi’s.
Her message to other caregivers: 'Don’t let fear guide your decisions. Love rooted in fear can do more harm than good. Instead, be steady, be brave, and don’t forget to care for yourself first. Only then can you truly be there for the one you love.'
If you are a caregiver or youth experiencing mental health challenges, visit https://www.mindfull.org.sg/ to explore the support they offer.

When we talk about ageing, we must also talk about the caregivers. Deep gratitude to Hidayah & Richard for sharing their stories in this RICE Media article; a timely reminder of the strength behind the scenes. ☺️
Everyone Talks About Ageing. Few Talk About the Caregivers Carrying the Weight.
If caregiving is such a universal reality in Singapore's ageing society, why do caregivers still feel like they’re never doing enough?

Who says mental wellness can’t be fun? 💚
Our CHE (CREST-CSN) team recently wrapped up a fun session of Art Therapy: Balloon Sculpting! Our participants explored creativity through play while learning how to shape balloon bunnies 🐰🎈Check out their adorable creations in the picture here!
Beyond the fun, the session helped build emotional connection, mindfulness, and social interaction— because healing happens in community 👫
Now we can't wait for the next session! Follow us to keep updated 😉

Stories have the power to build empathy. 💛
We were grateful to bring our Human Library Experience to our corporate partner COMO, where participants had the chance to listen, learn, and connect through real mental health journeys.
Our caregiver William shared his experience caring for his mother with dementia, while Hiral, a person in recovery, spoke courageously about her mental health journey.
Hearing both perspectives side by side reminded us that recovery is not just personal, but it's just as much relational. 🌿
Thank you COMO for creating space for honest conversations and human connection, and thank you to everyone who listened with openness and heart. 💚
