Repost from instagram.com/nuspresident - “Tomorrow, we commemorate — a sacred occasion that reminds us that compassion, wisdom and kindness have the power to transform lives and bring hope to the world. 🌎🕊️🦁
To all my Buddhist colleagues, students, alumni and friends in Singapore and around the world, I wish you a peaceful and meaningful Vesak Day.
In these challenging times, may we continue to uplift those in need, serve our communities with purpose, and use our talents, knowledge and innovations to make a positive difference. Together, let us build a more compassionate, inclusive and hopeful future for all.”

Summer break has officially begun! As everyone prepares to enjoy a well-deserved rest, we'd like to share some highlights from last month's final reviews. Students across all programmes—from undergraduate to graduate levels—showcased their work through presentations, engaged in constructive critiques, and shared valuable insights.
A big thank you to all the reviewers and guests for making time for our students and helping make all sessions a success. As we look forward to reconvening in August for the new academic year, we wish everyone a restful and enjoyable break!

As Singapore ages, the conversation must go beyond care provision — towards supporting dignity, identity, and meaningful participation in later life.
"Memory in Motion" is a ground-up design project that explores this through the lens of architecture. Developed by M Arch student Chu Yi Tan, this portable travel archive invites seniors in Whampoa to reconnect with personal and collective memories through tactile, spatial storytelling. It reflects a belief long championed by Tsao Foundation: that ageing well is not just about services, but about nurturing connection to self, community, and place.
Come and join her at the sharing session, where the project will be presented alongside a conversation with seniors and the community:
