Hari Raya Aidiladha is just days away! 🌙✨

On 27 May (Wednesday), as we commemorate Prophet Ibrahim's unwavering faith and devotion, let's honour this blessed day by performing the Sunnah Aidiladha prayer.

This sunnah muakkadah, a highly encouraged practice taught by Prophet Muhammad s.a.w, connects us to the sacred journey of Haj and the blessed days of Zulhijjah. Whether you're praying individually, as an Imam or as part of the congregation, every step counts.

Swipe through this guide to learn the complete steps, from establishing your intention to giving salam.

📍 In Singapore, prayer sessions begin as early as 7:20 AM, around 20 minutes after sunrise, and end before Zohor azan. Find your nearest prayer location at maps.gov.sg/raya-prayer.

May our prayers be accepted and may we embody the values of sacrifice, obedience and compassion this Aidiladha.

Correction: On page 8, the step ends with tashahhud, this is wrong. After the 5th step i.e. sujud, you should stand up to begin your second raka'at.

🩺🕋 As Singapore pilgrims prepare for the peak Haj period, every prayer, step and moment of rest matters — not only to the pilgrims themselves, but also to the loved ones praying for them back home.

Their health and well-being remain a shared amanah. Throughout the Haj journey, the Singapore Pilgrims’ Affairs Office (SPAO) and its medical team continue to support pilgrims through dedicated clinics in Makkah, treating common conditions such as upper respiratory tract infections, colds, sore throat, dryness and skin rashes caused by the heat and dry weather during Haj season.

As pilgrims prepare for the upcoming Masyair journey, including Arafah, the medical team anticipates a higher number of cases and remains ready to provide continued care and support.🤍

May Allah grant the team wisdom and strength in caring for our Haj pilgrims. 🤲🏼

While our pilgrims walk the sacred land of Makkah, we take inspiration from the places of history they visit 🤍

In the Cave of Hira, the first revelation was sent down. From the day we were commanded to "Read", to the final revelation, we are taught that the Quran was sent not just to be recited, but also cherished, lived and reflected.

In our speech.
In our actions.
In our choices.
In our return to Allah.

So how do we embody the Quran in our daily lives?

As we are in the blessed month of Zulhijjah, let us take this opportunity to fulfil our obligations, avoid acts of disobedience and increase our sunnah acts.

May Allah s.w.t. accept all our good deeds and bless us with His love and mercy.

Allah knows our limits and places ease within every situation, not hardship. Even when our abilities differ, every sincere intention still counts, and there are always many ways to do good.

A limitation in capacity is never a lack of opportunity, nor a sign of less love from Allah, rather, it is part of His perfect wisdom and mercy.

🕋 Arafah and Mina in the final stages of preparation.

Acting Minister-in-Charge of Muslim Affairs and Head of the Haj 2026 Delegation, Assoc Prof Muhammad Faishal Ibrahim, our Singapore Pilgrims’ Affairs Office (SPAO) and partners are on the ground in campsites - checking facilities, reviewing logistics, assessing site readiness, and ensuring every detail is in place for our pilgrims’ comfort, safety, and well-being.

Daytime temperatures in Saudi Arabia are currently reaching approximately 47°C. Pilgrims are strongly advised to stay hydrated, avoid prolonged exposure to the sun, and remain indoors where possible during peak heat hours.

We also extend our sincere appreciation to the Saudi authorities for its continued efforts in providing extensive infrastructure, including air coolers, shaded walkways, and other heat mitigation measures to help safeguard pilgrims during the Haj season.

May Allah ease the affairs of our pilgrims, protect them from harm, and reward every soul working behind the scenes to serve them.

Work ethics in Islam: Creating the best environment and objectives for our work culture 30/04/2026

This Labour Day, we honour every visible and unseen effort that keeps life moving. ✨

Work can be ‘ibadah when done with sincere intention. But it was never meant to consume the whole self or lead us to burnout. When responsibilities feel heavy, the Prophetic way reminds us that success lies in balance: fulfilling our duties, caring for those around us and nourishing the soul along the way.

May we strive for excellence, rest without guilt and find barakah in all that we do 🤲🏻

A “shortcut” to Haj can cost you everything.

Performing Haj without a valid Haj permit or visa may lead to financial loss, travel complications, and being unable to complete the rites.

If you are not a Saudi citizen, a Haj visa is required—this is part of the official permit process.

Protect your Haj. Choose official channels.
