After nearly 17 years of trying to amend our 1991 constitution which saw the establishment of two Constitutional Review Commissions (Peter Tucker and Justice Cowan), the government of President Bio will finally through the office of the AGMOJ, launch the government response to the recommendations as contained in the Justice Cowan Report.

Glad to have been part of this history. I hope the people of Sierra Leone will look at the acceptance of the progressive recommendations by the government of President Bio beyond political lines.

Hope our members of parliament will help to advance the vision of our President. Thanks to all those who worked to put the recommendations together, and may the gentle soul of Justice Cowan (who chaired the CRC) rest in perfect peace.

Your sacrifice for our land shall be recognized on Thursday 13th January, 2022.

After the publication of the "Know your Candidates" document by IEMOC on 27th December, 2021, it became known to IEMOC that Mr Jessy Jim Braima Kpagoi - aspirant for the National Officer position of Secretary General - has an active corruption trial pending before Justice Jon Bosco Allieu in Makeni. Following consultations with IEMOC members, the ACC Commissioner and Mr Kpagoi, we have resolved that Mr Kpagoi withdraws his candidature for the elections.
