Earlier this afternoon, at the request of Ady Maculey, the Peace Ambassador engaged and entertained the people of Port Loko.
As a Peace Ambassador, it is vital that the message of peace reaches every gathering. As Sierra Leonean leaders begin to prepare for political campaigns, the Peace Ambassador remains committed to engaging grassroots communities whenever invited, to reiterate the importance of peaceful coexistence regardless of tribe, political affiliation, or religion.
We must always remember that before any other identity, we are Sierra Leoneans. We have only one Sierra Leone, and it is our responsibility to treat one another with understanding and respect.
Appointed by President Maada Bio, the Peace Ambassador will continue to carry the message of peace wherever and whenever the call is made.
