Welcome to December!

This month, we celebrate Made in Sierra Leone products.
We begin with agro-processing — one of the fastest-growing sectors showcased at the exhibition. From cocoa and coffee to cassava, gari, spices, juices and processed grains, Sierra Leonean agro-processors are proving that value addition is possible at home.

One of the biggest highlights of the AfCFTA Conference was the strong private sector presence.
Manufacturers, MSMEs, women entrepreneurs and farmers spoke openly about the opportunities and barriers they face. Their voices will now guide the national AfCFTA strategy.
Sierra Leone is committed to ensuring the AfCFTA works for MSMEs and local businesses.

With the AfCFTA tariff schedule now gazetted and the country’s readiness assessment finalised, Sierra Leone is entering a new phase of opportunity.
