On the 20th of April 2026, a successful ambulance delivery was done by the ambulance team in Koidu while transferring the patient from Gondama, Nimikoro Chiefdom, Kono District.

The patient gave birth in the ambulance as she was been transferred from Yimicorad CHC to Magburaka Government Hospital.
