South West Commission for Refugees & Idps

SCEC successfully celebrated the graduation of 236 youth and women in Baidoa who completed Vocational Skills Training in Construction and Beauty Salon, as well as Literacy & Numeracy Skills, through the SLM Phase II project under the Project, funded by BMZ and implemented by GIZ in partnership with SCEC.
The event highlighted how these graduates are now equipped with market-relevant skills that unlock pathways to employment, entrepreneurship, and financial inclusion.
This celebration marks a major step toward strengthening resilience, self-reliance, and local economic development for IDPs, returnees, and host communities in Southwest State.
