Happy Africa Youth Day!

Africa’s youth are unstoppable. Today we honor the passion and innovation of young leaders who are driving change and building a better tomorrow.

We hosted an inspiring session where participants explored the world of freelancing, sharing experiences, practical skills, and success stories from their personal journeys.

Special thanks to Abdikhadar Hassan for leading the discussion and motivating young professionals to embrace freelancing as a pathway to growth and independence.

On International Youth Day, we hosted the panel discussion ‘Unknown Artists – Local Youth Actions for the SDGs and Beyond’. Young filmmakers, photographers, and storytellers came together to share how creativity can drive sustainable development and global progress.

In collaboration with YALI Alumni Somalia, we hosted the Trevor Noah Foundation – Education Changemakers Cohort 2 Info Session.

The session brought together passionate youth who actively engaged, shared ideas, and left ready to apply and take part in initiatives that drive change in education and beyond.

We watched the powerful story of youth activism and courage through Joshua: Teenager vs. Superpower. The film inspired deep discussions on leadership, civic responsibility, and the power of young voices to spark change.

Following the screening, YEEP Alumni actively took part in the networking session sharing ideas, connecting, and reflecting on how we can lead positive impact in our communities.
