Ring Ariik Manyang, a fourth-year student, died after sustaining injuries during violence linked to the Tonj North Peace Tournament in Juba. Fighting reportedly broke out at Munuki Playground on Sunday, May 10, 2026, before the violence spread to the Eden area on Monday, May 11, where he was allegedly attacked. He later succumbed to his injuries, prompting concern among residents and calls for improved security during community sporting events.
