Kitchen gardens, often started to provide fresh vegetables and fruits for household consumption, can grow into valuable income-generating ventures when well planned and managed. Many families begin with small backyard plots to reduce food expenses and improve nutrition. Over time, with improved skills, consistent care, and the use of organic compost or irrigation methods, these gardens can yield surplus produce beyond household needs.
