Change Is Possible

We can bring change to our beautiful country---South Sudan. It is possible if we are willing to make it happen, because nothing under the sun is beyond the reach of a united people driven by the common good.

Today, we have a country we call home because of a few men and women who, more than 40 years ago, chose to act despite oppression. They believed change was possible if they made a choice, paid the price, and pursued it with determination.

We, too, can make that same choice today if we are committed to creating positive change in our country. We can bring change if we raise our voices---not in violence, but in peace and unity of purpose. Not as tribes, but as South Sudanese. By promoting peace, love, unity, harmony, and togetherness, we can transform this nation.

Every day, we see government officials appointed and removed from public office. But have we seen meaningful change? The answer is no. This leads us to ask a serious question: why are officials being replaced always, yet nothing improves?

The answer is simple: we are changing individuals, not the system. As a result, we are like a person trying to remove a tree by cutting its branches instead of uprooting it. If we are to bring lasting change, we must transform the system----from one that is self-serving, self-centered, and self-owned into one that is people-serving, people-centered, and people-owned.

This is the system that the South Sudan National Movement for Change (SSNMC) is striving to build for all citizens, regardless of ethnicity, religion, region, political background, or social status. SSNMC envisions a South Sudan where the candle of peace, hope, dreams, liberty, justice and prosperity lights every home, every tribe, and every region.

Achieving this requires our collective efforts----not as tribes, but as one people of South Sudan.

May God bless South Sudan.

South Sudan, keep lighting.
SSNMC, keep lighting.

SSNMC is the only party where youths’ voices truly matter. Hon. Moro Jenesio is a leader committed to empowering young men and women in South sudan. In the South Sudan national movement for change (SSNMC) , youths are not the leaders of tomorrow----they are the leaders of today. As young men are being turned into Sycophants, Sunday school singers, and worships in other political parties, SSNMC remains as the only political party where Youths are trained to be leaders, change makers, and reformists.

Young people should join politics because the decisions made at the political table every day affect youth employment, education, health, and overall well-being. For that reason, we should all get involved where these decisions are made and be part of the decision-making process.

Nobody has the right to decide what is best for us----we are the ones who should decide for ourselves.

KEEP LIGHTING 🕯️! ✊🏾

COPIED FROM Hon.Anai David Dot,

Youth of South Sudan must rise above tribal politics.

Joining a political party should not be based on a tribe, don't join a political party because your uncles or relatives are members of that party but on national vision, shared values, and commitment to the common good. When you become a member of any political party, you become a nationalist—someone who represents the interests of all South Sudanese, not just one community.

A true political party reflects the diversity of our nation. It must bring together members from different tribes, regions, and backgrounds. This is not only a moral responsibility but also aligns with the principles of the Political Parties Council Act, which envisions inclusive, national-based political organizations.

Let us reject division and build parties that unite, not divide. The future of South Sudan depends on a generation that chooses unity over tribalism.

Why South Sudanese Youth Must Reject Political Apathy and join political parties

Political apathy is the lack of interest, concern, or participation in political processes and public affairs by individuals or groups.

Political apathy is one of the greatest threats to the future of South Sudan. When young people choose silence, disengagement, or indifference, they unknowingly surrender their power to shape the direction of the nation. In a country where youth form the majority, staying out of politics does not protect you—it only allows others to decide your future without you.

Every challenge we face today—unemployment, insecurity, corruption, weak institutions, and limited opportunities—has political roots. This means the solutions must also come through political action. If the youth remain passive, these problems will persist. But if they rise, organize, and participate, change becomes possible.

Avoiding politics does not mean avoiding its consequences. Decisions about education, jobs, security, and development are made every day, and they directly affect your life. By staying disengaged, you lose your voice in these decisions.

Youth participation is not about violence or division—it is about ideas, leadership, accountability, and nation-building. It is about demanding transparency, promoting peace, and ensuring that leadership serves the people, not itself.

South Sudan needs a generation of young people who are informed, courageous, and actively involved. A generation that refuses tribal politics and embraces unity, competence, and vision. A generation that understands that real change requires participation, not withdrawal.

The future of South Sudan will not be built by the silent—it will be built by those who speak, act, and lead.

Reject apathy. Embrace responsibility. Your voice is your power.

Youth of South Sudan, the future of our nation is in your hands.

For too long, our dreams have been limited by conflict, corruption, and lack of opportunity. It is time to rise and take our place in shaping a better South Sudan—a country founded on peace, rule of law, justice, and equal opportunity for all.

The South Sudan National Movement for Change (SSNMC) invites you to be part of a new vision: a Federal Democratic Republic of South Sudan, United in Diversity, where every voice matters and every region is represented.

This is not just politics—it is a movement for change, for accountability, and for a future where youth lead with purpose and integrity.

Do not sit back while others decide your future. Stand up. Get involved. Be the change.

Join SSNMC today. Together, we build the South Sudan we deserve.
