The Assistant Inspector General of Police AIGP for Medical Services Lt, Gen.Dr. Olaw Adiang Nyijo met with the representative of the united nations police led by the UNPOL Deputy commissioner,
The meeting discussed critical operational health service priorities which includes the strategic roadmap for the rehabilitation of the police hospital as well as equipping the hospital with medicine and logistical support.
According to Dr. Olaw, the hospital would provide medical services to the police personnel, their families and the civil population.

The Inspector General of Police Gen.Said Chawul Lom on Tuesday announced promotion of more than ten thousand and six hundred police officers in various ranks ranging from 2nd Lt to the rank of Brigadier.
The announcement was made during general parade at Buluk police Headquarters.

President Kiir Promotes Police Officers to Various Ranks
The President has approved the promotion of several police officers and non-commissioned officers to various ranks within the Police Service, as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen leadership and professionalism in the force.
In the latest promotions, five Senior Police officers were elevated from the rank of Major General to Lieutenant General, while eleven officers were promoted from Brigadier to the rank of Major General.
Among the officers promoted to the rank of Lieutenant General is Lt. Gen. Kon John Akot, the Director of Traffic Police, in recognition of his dedication, leadership, and outstanding service.
The promoted officers were officially decorated during a ceremony attended by senior government officials and police leadership. The decorations were conducted by the Acting Minister of Interior, Hon. Mangar Buong, together with the Inspector General of Police, Gen. Said Chawul Lom.
