Amb. Minns, joined by partners from Norway, UNFPA and the Ministry of Health, visited Yambio to witness firsthand how coordinated investments are saving lives and strengthening national systems. These gains are only possible in an environment of peace — the foundation that allows services to function, communities to thrive, and development to take root. From maternity care to youth centres, the results highlight why sustained donor support continues to make a real difference for communities across South Sudan, and why protecting and advancing peace remains vital for progress to endure. Keep it up, ! 🇨🇦🇸🇸

In fragile contexts, access to reliable information builds trust, counters misinformation and disinformation, and creates space for dialogue over division.
Protecting journalists means protecting the conditions for lasting peace.
