Panbaai’s residents praises for maintaining peace.

Panbaai residents have been praised by senior government officials for keeping peace after a violence that claimed lives.
State Economic Advisor, Riak Madut Angok urges local leaders and youth leaders to continue preaching peace and reconciliation among the communities.
He assures members of the community that suspects linked to the violence have been arrested and they will be arraigned in court.
Mariak made his remarks while addressing residents at Panbaai market on Tuesday.
He was moving together with county commissioner and other officials from the State.
In the past few weeks, violence broke out between local youth and the police, leaving one police officer dead and a civilian.
Local market was reduced to ashes by alleged angry youths.
Suspects believed to have played a role in the clashes have been arrested.

County Commissioner Takes SPLM County Seat.

The Commissioner of Twic County has officially taken a second oath of office as the Chairman of the Sudan People's Liberation Movement (SPLM) Party. This important event happened a day after he was sworn in as the commissioner at the Council of Ministers in Kuajok, with other senior officials.

The second oath-taking ceremony was held at the State SPLM Headquarters, where H.E. Gen. Magok Magok Rong instructed Hon. Mabior Marup Duwar to implement party policies effectively, ensuring that services reach the people from urban centers to grassroots communities.

As tasks on dual role, the commissioner will now return to the county, while serving as the commissioner and the head of the ruling party. SPLM in government, emphasizing that delivery of essential services and upholding the party's principles are his first priority.

The Commissioner of Twic County, Hon. Mabior Marup Duwar, has officially taken oath of office today on Friday. He was joined by other senior officials, including Hon. Atem Ngong Atem, the Deputy Commissioner General for the Revenue Authority.

This ceremony marks a significant step towards their commitment to serving the people and fulfilling their responsibilities in office.

Today, Twic County Commissioner Hon. John Mabior Marup, accompanied by SPLM Secretary for Twic County Cde Mawien Piok Deng, paid a courtesy visit to Hon. Wol Anei Anei, also known as Cde Wol Maperdit, at his office in Kuajok. This meeting was marked by expressions of gratitude and solidarity, as the delegation thanked Cde Wol for his unwavering dedication and steadfast support to the SPLM office in Twic County during his tenure as Secretary General for Warrap State.
Cde Maperdit took the opportunity to commend Commissioner Marup for his exemplary leadership during his month-long service as Acting Commissioner, before his recent confirmation as the de facto Commissioner of Twic County.
