Reflection on visit of employees of Ministry Trade and Industry to Hon. Amb. Joseph Moum Majak.

The Theme of the Visit

While the theme of the visit was to "share the Christmas and the New Year wishes and blessings with Hon. Amb. Joseph Moum", the representatives of the groups expressed their gratitude and appreciation to Hon. Amb. Joseph Moum on how he has served them when he was the Minister of Trade and Industry. They complimented that Hon. Amb. Moum was humble, full of humanity and sympathetic to the staff of the Ministry from all the grades when he was with them.

The composition of the group

The group was largely composed of the women (most of them messengers and Cleaners) and men ( most of them are drivers).
This shows that these people comes from the lowest grades of the Ministry workforce and who rarely interact with the top leadership of the Ministry. However, from their expression, they were all impacted positively by the leadership of Hon. Amb. Joseph Moum.

This is a positive feedback and a way to encourage leaders to work for the country and the people. It is also a "bottom up appraisal" so that those who serve above the people reflect on their leadership impacts to either let them keep on or adjust in the next course of leadership.

The importance of the visit.

The visit came from the most simple but mattered people of every institution, and it carried a big message. Hon.Minister was touched greatly by the humility and the compliments accorded to him and he realized that, there are those who remember and appreciate efforts even when you have forgotten of the good things you sometimes made. Such feedback energized and rejuvenated the senses of patriotism and nationalism into the people.

In conclusion, leaders should be accounted and appreciated for the good deeds so that those who did mistakes correct their mistakes and those who served diligently continue to serve.
