🔸During the close conversation, the parties held a "reconciliation of hours" on the current domestic political situation in the country and
discussed bilateral cooperation
in the context of cooperation with South Sudan.

🔸The Ambassadors agreed to keep in touch on issues of mutual interest.

🇷🇺🇸🇸 Russian Ambassador A.Kosmodemiyanskiy took part in the opening ceremony of the South Sudan National Olympic Committee office in Juba, where he met with its President Chol Pal G*i Laam.

🔸 During the constructive and friendly discussion, the parties outlined general prospects for cooperation between our countries in the field of sports.

🔸 They agreed to remain in close contact on the aforementioned matter.

🇷🇺🇸🇸 Посол России А.В.Космодемьянский принял участие в церемонии открытия офиса Национального Олимпийского комитета в Джубе, на которой встретился с его председателем Чолом Лаамом.

🔸 В ходе доверительной беседы наметили общие контуры взаимодействия между нашими странами в спортивной сфере.

🔸 Договорились оставаться в постоянном контакте по упомянутому вопросу.

🇷🇺🇺🇳 On May 29, Russian Ambassador A.Kosmodemiyanskiy took part in the celebration of the International Day of UN Peacekeepers at the camp of the United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS).

🔸 During the ceremony, the important role of UN peacekeeping missions in maintaining peace, security and stability was highlighted, as well as the contribution of peacekeepers to conflict resolution and assistance to civilians.

🔸 During a meeting with the Head of UNMISS, Anita Kiki Gbeho, and the Mission’s leadership, A.Kosmodemiyanskiy emphasized that the Russian side consistently supports the efforts of the international community aimed at strengthening peace and security on the African continent and in South Sudan.

🇷🇺🇺🇳 29 мая с.г. Посол России А.В.Космодемьянский принял участие в праздновании Международного дня миротворцев ООН в лагере Миссии ООН в Южном Судане (МООНЮС).

🔸 В рамках церемонии была отмечена важная роль миротворческих миссий ООН в поддержании мира, безопасности и стабильности, а также вклад миротворцев в урегулирование конфликтов и оказание помощи мирному населению.

🔸 А.В.Космодемьянский в ходе встречи с главой МООНЮС Кики Гбехо и руководством Миссии подчеркнул, что российская сторона неизменно поддерживает усилия международного сообщества, направленные на укрепление мира и безопасности на Африканском континенте и в Южном Судане.
