This note serves to appreciate the active role played by immediate family, political, social, Intellectual, Expert and Veteran Writers, supporters, sympathisers, political group and our network worldwide.

You have seen why Hon. Chuol and I made a unilateral decision to cease a week long provoked attacks on us that we have rebelled against the government and that Hon. Chuol had crossed line to his in law. This de-escalation did not come out of blue but on due respect and reassurance of recommitment to peace, and unity of our community so that enemies of progress and peace detractors are not given opportunity to instill fear and suffering on our mighty community.

With immediate interventions, phone calls and sideline meetings with elders, senior political and military leaders, personal friends, relatives strongly advice us to cease this back and forth debates for sake of peace and harmony. Among the dignitaries that thwart my response on what I term as, "Article 2, Part 3) would have been the darkest history on the life of the target. I extracted the topic as a vampire article I intend to cause insecurity, permanent dementia in his life and that of the family.

However with the utterance of peace by Cousin Dr. John G*i Yoh, Hon. Sarah Nyanath Elijah, Hon. Biel Jock Thich, Hon. Dak Duop Bichok, Amb. David Buom Choat, Amb. James Doyiech Ter, Eng. Paul T. Dak Lampuar, Hon. Gatluak Liphoth Dieu, Samuel Gatbel Gach, John Wiyual Wal, Rev. Simon Ruot Riang, Hon. Changkuoth Bichok Reath,
Friends, Simon Gatluak Chol, Dr. Pal Chol, Hon. Gach Wol Guandong, Gen. John Moyieny Lual, Gatluak Gony Guandong, Yien Thiang Luony, Maluit Buny Deng, James Kueth Chol, Benjamin Lual Lam, Nhial Koak Bidit, Dr. Awer Gabriel and my table. Some senior officials that I cannot mention here echoed same utterances, Hon. Kim G*i, East Africa Parliament and others are acknowledge.

This de-escalated public outrage is thwarted through your advices and strong advice to cease no further.

We are part of you and without your incredible advices, who are we not to heed to and implement it thereafter.

Dear Audience,

You might have expected some hard responses but the utterances of peace messages of mentioned individuals and entire online friends that have reached out to us privately and publicly. On your calls, we cease this on February 20th.

We have informed our team, supporters, sympathisers to accept our call to end this debate. Sometimes, un-announce ceasefire sometimes experience sporadic violation that this note serves to address.

We thought, constructive critisms is the baseline of intellectual debates until the target ran out of ideas and deviated to unhealthy under-belt attacks, which is always the tools used by un-organised elements to destabilized others.

Please, bear with us this painful and uprupt decision for sake of peace and unity within our community.

RT HON. SPEAKER OFFICIALLY OPENS THE LEADERSHIP TRAINING WORKSHOP.

Wednesday ( 17 April 2024), Rt Hon. Chuol Dep Kir, Speaker of Upper Nile state Transitional Legislative Assembly officially opened Training Workshop for Hon. Members Parliament organised by Search for Common grounds in collaboration with UNFPA, UNDER THE THEME " Promoting and Institutionalizing Youth Participation in Peacebuilding process in South Sudan.

The training workshop is to engage political leaders to accept and support Youth Participation in peace and Security initiatives in the Country.

In his opening remark, Rt Hon. Chuol Dep Kir, Speaker of Upper Nile state Transitional Legislative Assembly, encouraged Members of Parliament who are also participants to carry out the message as it is means, for the benefit of Youth, because Youth are the key to the nation building.

MINISTRY OF CULTURE, YOUTHs AND SPORTS WITH ITS PARTNERS CONDUCTED WORKSHOP TRAINING IN MALAKAL.

On Monday ( 15 April 2024) Ministry of culture, Youth and sports in collaboration with Global Aim and Cross culture organisations organised two days workshop training for 70 Coaches in Malakal

The workshop concentrated on the need to unite the people of Upper Nile State Through sport activities in the state, with sports, Youths who are always the frontliners of every tribal confrontation will be able to engage themselves with activities of Peace and unity in Upper Nile State.

on his closing remark H.E. Deng Joh Angok, Deputy Governor of Upper Nile state, appreciated the crucial role played by the state government partners for contributing immensely on bringing peace and unity amongs the five communities of Upper Nile state, in order to make Upper Nile State peaceful again, we as government will work very hard to make sure Youth are equally employed, and are engaged with activities to do with peace and Development H.E Deng added.

On his Rt Hon. Chuol Dep Kir, Speaker of Upper Nile state Transitional Legislative Assembly, welcome the important role played by the state government partners, Rt Hon. Speaker asked Global Aim and Cross Culture organisations to conduct more workshops trainings on sport across the state, so that Youth from different communities will be able to love themselves irrespective of which tribes they belong.

SPEAKER OF UPPER NILE STATE TRANSITIONAL LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY RETURNS BACK TO JUBA.

(January 14 2024 Juba) Rt Hon. Chuol Dep Kir, Speaker of Upper Nile State Transitional Legislative Assembly returned back to Juba.

He was received upon his arrival at Juba International airport by Hon. James Gatwech Jock Deng, state Advisor for Economic Affairs, the whole Assembly Business Committee, Mps, state Technical Advisors and various sub-Communities of Eastern Jikany.

John Maxwell quoted that, a leader becomes great, not because of his power, but because of his ability to empower others, Rt Hon. Chuol Dep Kir's aim is to see a united government that represents the will of the people of Upper Nile State, in order to deliver necessary services to the needy people of Upper Nile.

NEW YEAR MESSAGE TO THE CITIZENS OF UPPER NILE STATE BY RT. HON. SPEAKER OF STATE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY

On behalf of Upper Nile State Transitional Legislative Assembly and my own behalf, I am taking this immense opportunity to formally share my new year best wishes to the citizens of Upper Nile State on this special moment and may this be a year of love, unity, forgiveness, reconciliation and humility to attain a sustainable peace, stability and prosperity. I am also expressing my sincere gratitude to the State Government under the wise leadership of Honorable James Odhok Oyai, Governor of Upper Nile State and Honorable Ayong Awer Lual, Deputy Governor of Upper Nile State and State Chairperson of the SPLM for their tireless effort in promoting peace and avail conducive environment to our returning Internally Displaced Persons and former refugees from Sudan.

It is my best expectation that our population shall return back to their places of origin, participate in post conflict rehabilitation, and exercise their constitutional rights to elect their leaders of choice in 2024 general election. My special new year wish to all honorable members and civil servants of Upper Nile State Legislative Assembly for the commitment and dedication you have rendered in the year 2023 under harsh working conditions and enormous operational challenges. May almighty God grant all your desires and uphold you united, in order to boost your commitments to achieve more for the best interest of the people of State. My special wish to Hon. Mojwok Deng Ajak who was recently rebuked from his position as a member of the State Legislative Assembly. He was an dedicated, loyal, and independable member with extensive skills and wealthy experiences in management of the parliament, the government and politics since 2010. I wish him all the best in his political careers and the Assembly shall stand with him and his family and wish him a good heath and good job in the year 2024.

I would like to urge the State Government and citizens to adhere and reflect on the unity, peace and services delivery that Government of Upper Nile State with all it's organs brought to the people.

May this year marks a brighter beginning to keep our spirit and determination unshakeable, let us always have the faith and the courage to promote peace and unity to meet all our desires

As we gathered with our loved ones to celebrate new year, let us cherish the bonds of our unity as one people of one Nation and one state called Upper Nile State, may this year bring everlasting peace and prosperity to the people of our beloved state and good health to the leaders who dedicated their precious times to serve the great people of Upper Nile state.

UPPER NILE STATE PARLIAMENT'S ABC SUMMON MINISTER OF GENERAL EDUCATION AND INSTRUCTIONS.

Friday Dec 15/ 2023 Upper Nile state Transitional Legislative Assembly's ABC in it regular sitting Chaired by the Speaker of the House, summon state Minister of General Education and instructions on the following urgent matters,

1- Non payment of some old teachers in the state Ministry of General Education
2- Some Irregularities on the appointment of young people into higher grades_ supper scale in the Ministry.

during the deliberation, the Assembly Business Committee found out that a good number of teachers did not receive their salaries and extreme inexperienced young people are being promoted to higher grades_ super scale.

in his key note address Rt Hon. Chuol Dep Kir Speaker of Upper Nile state Transitional Legislative Assembly commended the concern committee for their unwavering commitment on services delivery to the people of Upper Nile state, Rt Hon. Speaker also called upon Minister of General Education and the Chairperson of Standing Specialized Committee on Education to cooperate and promote working relationship in the institution in order to fight for the rights of teachers because education is the backbone of Nation growth.

(November 23/2023) Upper Nile state Transitional Legislative in it's extraordinary sitting No (1) session one for the year 2023 Chaired by Rt Hon. Speaker of the House.

The Assembly Members welcomed the announcement, and wholeheartedly expressed their gratitude to Rt Hon. Chuol Dep Kir Speaker of Upper Nile state Transitional Legislative Assembly for his unwavering commitment to the wellbeing of the members and for maintaining the unity of the Assembly for the best interest of the great people of Upper Nile state, the Mps will now go for recess and engage with their constituents and see how the implementation of the agreement is going

Tuesday, Nov 14/2023 Malakal, Rt Hon. Chuol Dep Kir, Speaker of Upper Nile state Transitional Legislative Assembly have today returned back to the state after a two weeks visit to Juba.

Rt Hon. Speaker was received at the premises of the Assembly by the Assembly Business Committee (ABC), Members of state Parliament and Staffs.

UPPER NILE STATE PARLIAMENT SUMMONS MINISTERS AND CHAIRPERSONS OF INDEPENDENT COMMISSIONS.

16th/ Oct/2023 Malakal: Upper Nile State Transitional Legislative Assembly in it's regular sitting No: (33) First Session for the year 2023 Chaired by Rt Hon. Chuol Dep Kir, Speaker of Upper Nile State Transitional Legislative Assembly.

among summoned officials were Hon. David Nyang Kueth Minister of Cabinet Affairs, Hon. Michael Nyatho Nyunky Minister of Housing, Land and Public Utilities, Hon. Adam Yel Elbeid Minister of Gender, Child and Social Welfare, Hon. Chairperson of Human Rights Commission and Hon. Chairperson of Relief and Rehabilitation Commission to clarify the following urgent and important matters.

1-On the status of Humanitarian Situation at Nasir and Maiwut Counties with Ethiopian borders due to the influxes of returnees from the Camps.
2- On the resettlement program of returnees coming from Sudan and IDPs across the state.
3- Clarification on the status of unaccompanied minors from the returnees and IDPs.

On the deliberation of above-mentioned orders of the day, members of August House raised important questions regarding the ongoing suffering of the people of Upper Nile state and other South Sudanese residing in Malakal and across the state, among the important issues that were raised are, renovation of state government Facilities, transportation of the returnees from Renk to their destination, allotment of the lands to the people of Upper Nile state and other South Sudanese that are interested to live in Upper Nile state, the resumption of operation of urban water and Electricity and Violation of Human Rights.

Rt Hon. Speaker reiterated his call to Ministers to prepare the policies framework of their respective Ministries as awaited by the August House.

UPPER NILE PARLIAMENT SUMMON MINISTER OF TRADE AND INDUSTRY.

Monday 09/ Oct/ 2023 Malakal: Upper Nile state Transitional Legislative Assembly on it's regular sitting no (31) session one (1) for the year 2023 Chaired by Rt Hon. Chuol Dep Kir, Speaker of Upper Nile state Transitional Legislative Assembly summoned Hon. Simon Ruot Riang State Minister of Trade & Industry to explain urgent matters on the rising prices of essential commodities in the State Capital Malakal and thirteen (13) counties.

the Assembly raised questions regarding daily increment of the prices of essential goods in the Market including locally produced goods such as Meat, Okra, Tomatoes, Potatoes, fishes etc

After deliberations, questions and answer from Hon. Minister. The Assembly directed Hon. Minister to work on decreasing the prices of local producing goods. The Assembly will send a resolution to H.E the Governor to remove all illegal check points in Upper Nile State as the cause of rising of prices on goods imported from other countries as there have been heavily taxes imposed on traders on the way to destinations
