H.E. Gola Boyoi Gola, the Chief Administrator joined by Hon. Denay Chagor, Minister of Wildlife, Conservation & Tourism, in partnership with African Parks, officially inaugurated the Maruwa Hills Tourist Camp within Boma National Park.
In his speech Hon. Denay Chagor stated, โToday is a historic and proud moment for our country. We are opening the first tourism site of its kind in South Sudan โ where the benefits for our people have already begun.โ
H.E. Gola Boyoi also expressed his excitement, stating, โToday is a historic day! We are witnessing something this camp has never seen before.โ Reflecting on his first term, he added, โWhen I first came here, I told the residents that there must be hotels in this area. This place is very beautiful. Let us work together to make it peaceful so that we can attract investors. Hotels will be constructed here, and the communities will benefit.โ
He also extended his gratitude to African Parks for transforming their commitments into tangible realities that will benefit our people and showcase the natural beauty of our land.

Pibor, Thursday | 19 March 2026 โ H.E. Gola Boyoi Gola, the Chief Administrator of Greater Pibor Administrative Area, visited Pibor Prison on Thursday morning.
During his visit, H.E. Gola Boyoi Gola personally listened to the cases of inmates currently detained in the facility. He engaged with those awaiting trial as well as individuals waiting to post bail.
H.E. Gola reviewed the cases of prisoners held for minor offenses and those eligible for bail. As a result of his intervention, he pardoned and released 15 prisoners who had been detained for minor crimes or were in need of bail. The government will cover all their fines to facilitate their discharge from the prison.

On Friday 13 March 2026, The Chief Administrator H.E. Gola Boyoi Gola together with the cabinet ministers, members of the legislative assembly, and representatives from independent commissions participated actively in a civic education and public consultation session conducted by the National Constitutional Review Commission (NCRC).
Welcoming the NCRC team, H.E. Gola Boyoi Gola emphasized the significance of this consultation for the people of Greater Pibor. He urged all leaders and community members to contribute meaningful ideas to help shape a permanent and inclusive national constitution that reflects the aspirations of all South Sudanese citizens.
During the session, participants proposed that a child born to two South Sudanese parents should automatically acquire citizenship. They also suggested that foreigners may obtain citizenship through registration after five years of continuous residence without a criminal record. Members further recommended that foreign academics be eligible for citizenship to enable the country to benefit from their expertise and contributions.
The consultation advocated for the protection of fundamental rights and called for equal political participation, emphasizing the importance of safeguarding the rights of women, children, persons with disabilities, and widows in the new constitution. Participants underscored the importance of maintaining the 35 percent affirmative action for womenโs representation.
On matters of governance, officials expressed strong support for a federal system and proposed that elections be held every four years, with a maximum of two terms for leaders, including the president, governors, members of parliament, and commissioners.
Participants also discussed land ownership, advocating that land should belong to communities but be regulated by the government to ensure equitable use and management. They called for the recognition of kingdoms as part of traditional authorities within the constitution and suggested that any constitutional amendments should be approved through a national referendum with a two-thirds majority.

H.E. Gola Boyoi Gola, Chief Administrator presided over the swearing-in ceremony of the newly appointed Mayor of Pibor City Council, ๐.๐. ๐๐๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐๐ ๐๐๐ก๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐จ๐ซ๐จ๐ค.
The ceremony was attended by GPAA government officials, and members of the Pibor City Council. In his remarks, H.E. Gola Boyoi Gola congratulated the newly appointed Mayor and encouraged him to work tirelessly for the betterment of the people of Pibor.
H.E. Gola emphasized the importance of transparency, accountability, and good governance in the administration of the city council. He pledged the support and encourage cooperation between the executive to the newly appointed Mayor and the Pibor City Council as they work to improve the lives of the people of Pibor.
The newly appointed Mayor, H.W. Ketha Ngachina Korok expressed his gratitude to H.E. Gola Boyoi Gola and the GPAA administration for the trust and confidence reposed in him. He vowed to work diligently to address the challenges facing the city council and to promote the development of Pibor.

The demolition for beautification of Pibor market has proven to the citizens of GPAA that the leadership is indeed effective and impartial.
The level of compliance reflects the existence of true laws governing the administrative area and the trust bestowed upon the chief administrator by the local shop owners. I have personally never seen such an orderly demolition like this before. In one of the defunct regimes, they tried but were met with stiff resistance from the local traders prompting them to succumb, and that reflected how ineffective they were. This is a technocrat-designed plan to beautify our market and because of its impartiality nature, nobody is telling the engineer โDe dokan bita zol kebir kede mata kutu GPS iniโ it must continue. My heartfelt gratitude goes to Ubang and Peter Allan(the commanders in charge of this operation) for maintaining law and order.

H.E. Gola Boyoi Gola presided over a meeting of the Council of Ministers to deliberate on strategic agricultural development initiatives. These initiatives aim to strengthen food security, promote economic growth, and create employment within the Greater Pibor Administrative Area (GPAA).
During the meeting, Hon. Jay Adingora Alual, Minister of Agriculture, Forestry, Animal Resources and Fisheries, presented a memo proposing the establishment of four large-scale farming schemes across the GPAA. This initiative is designed to boost agricultural production, create job opportunities for local communities, and reduce dependency on external food aid.
The Council also discussed the formation of cooperative societies to organise farmers, livestock keepers, and fishery stakeholders into structured unions. Furthermore, the government will explore partnerships with development institutions to mobilize additional funding, supplementing the approved government budget.
The Council resolved that all farming equipment previously under community management be returned to government oversight to ensure its proper maintenance and effective utilisation. The memo was approved and will be tabled to the GPAA Legislative Council for deliberation and passage.

Gola Boyoi Gola has increasingly attracted the attention of people of Greater Pibor. His ability to deliver on his mandate has restored hope among the citizen of Greater Pibor as he is the only leader who stands by his words. He has proven to be more effective by transporting marram to be surfaced along Pibor airstrip from Juba. The below picture portraying marram is a justification that he has embarked on his vision of wanting Greater Pibor to be Great Again.
The solution Papa Kiirdit has been looking for is finally found in GPAA- And thank you SKM for meeting the demand of people of Greater Pibor.

Dr. Akol Paul Kordit, was warmly welcomed today on his first official state visit to the Greater Pibor Administrative Area (GPAA). He was received at the Pibor airstrip by a jubilant and massive crowd of supporters, alongside Cde. Gola Boyoi Gola, the SPLM State Chairperson for GPAA, and the SPLM advance team from Juba led by Cde. David Yau Yau, a member of the Political Bureau, along with other SPLM cadres and supporters.
The SPLM Secretary General will undertake a three-day visit to GPAA to consolidate the party's presence, strengthen grassroots mobilization, and enhance community engagement in preparation for the national elections scheduled for late 2026.
