There’s an important new requirement you need to know before you travel.
From 1 June 2026, travellers entering or leaving South Africa will be required to declare personal goods, including motor vehicles used for travelling.
To avoid delays at border posts and entry points, travellers are encouraged to complete their declaration online before departure.
